New Features • Strange Loop MIDI, a new Audio Unit that sends MIDI instead of sound, so Strange Loop can play any other instrument in AUM, GarageBand, Logic and other hosts. Both Audio Units are included in the app. • Host sync, the engine now follows your host's transport and tempo. Hit play in your DAW and Strange Loop starts in time with everything else. Turn it off with the SYNC button to run on its own clock. • Eight new scales: Melodic Minor, Lydian Dominant, Locrian, Dorian b2, Altered (Super Locrian), Octatonic (Half-Whole), Octatonic (Whole-Half) and Neapolitan Minor. Fixed • Menus for key, scale and sounds can now be opened when Strange Loop is running as an Audio Unit inside another app. • Cancelling a purchase no longer shows an error message, and the remaining purchase messages now explain what happened in plain language. • The version number is shown in the header, which makes it easier to report problems.
