TrainKeeper is the easiest way to identify and log trains in the real world. Just point your iPhone at a train number: the app reads the UIC / NVR code using on-device intelligence, breaks it into vehicle type, country, series, ordinal number and check digit — and helps you understand what you’re looking at: locomotive type, operator, and more.
