MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE

My 2 stars is not based on the user experience but the backend of this application. They have over the years made some good improvements but more needs to be done. The management needs to stop being stingy and invest more n this app or just let us do internet and teller banking. For iOS user like me it’s headache over another. The app doesn’t work on weekends or public holidays. I have raised this issue more than 6 times but it is usually fixed on a working when it obviously works. I gave up on getting OTP via sms and sometimes it works but 70% of the time it doesn’t. Imagine making a transaction and it fails or the app is not responding and when you are called you are told they will solve it in 72 hours yet you need the cash that time. To cut the story short I made a mistake a while back and was left with a dent of KES 90,432 hole. A while back I had raised an issue related to the same of validating till numbers but usually it for work. But the most irking issue is that when the bank goes for a weekend the app also follows suit same for public holidays. Today it’s not working for me and it’s a public holiday.

Rushed incomplete update

This is the most incompletely done update. Beyond the new UI the functionality is horrible. Basically this will make you go back to the banking hall that you were avoiding. To be reset back to the old platform. Because this is linked with the incompletely done new internet banking. And you will soon realise that the log in button on the app is a url link to the new internet banking platform. Unless all you’re keen on is checking what your transactions account balance is, steer clear of this.
You won’t know what your card balances are (credit card, prepaid card). Your loan balances. Your various account balances are jumbled up. Moving cash around- pesalink, mobile money is a hit or miss.
The old one had issues but this has functionality issues as well. I wish they didn’t push it out as incomplete as it is.
