Not too bad , but please fix the feature that allows you to pick phone numbers when you are sending money. If a contact has more than 1 number, the app pick the first number.
Also with version 5.4 , the bill payment option doesn’t work. When you tap it, the App exits.
This app is too buggy
After begging NCBA to work on its mobile banking platform for over 2 years to accept basic functions like Face ID and saving beneficiaries under mobile payment options like Pesalink, they have come up with this heavy app that gives too much such that I reckon it affects its loading speed. It is very hot and miss with the PIN option after 2 attempts, one has to wait for it to refresh for MINUTES! and then try again and hope it takes. I’ve obviously now configured Face ID to jump over this hoop, but when I try to make payments, even between my own accounts, I sometimes get the ‘invalid pin, retry’ error after using an OTP. I think it would be alright if it didn’t lose data? or keep crashing out of commands like it is still doing. The old app was a pain, especially with constant PIN prompts and delays, but the developers still have bug fixes to work on to make this a smoother experience. It’s taken 2+ years for an upgrade so I think these last remaining kinks need to, and can be sorted out.
In sum: work on your log in (via PIN), payment authorization via OTP, and refresh timelines for more real-time updates in-app without need for constant log out and in.
Alright app
So after the app was updated, I’m finding it challenging to login!! As in where do you tap? On the logo or on the “go for it”? Because it takes forever to tap on one of them to be sent to the home page... Is it possible to just have he home page open up as soon as you open the app?
