Bible Study App Features Bible Study App is built for people who want to read Scripture and study the text more deeply without jumping between multiple tools. It includes the full Bible organized by Old Testament and New Testament, with books grouped into readable sections and quick chapter navigation. The reading screen is clean, focused, and designed for long-form reading with large typography, previous/next chapter controls, and light/dark mode. The app supports multiple Bible versions, including: - KJV - CSB - NLT - Westminster Leningrad Codex for Hebrew Old Testament study - Greek Textus Receptus for New Testament study - Brenton Greek Septuagint for Greek Old Testament study A major feature is original-language study. While reading an English passage, users can open the Hebrew or Greek source-language view. They can tap words to see pronunciation help, transliteration, lemma, morphology, gloss/definition, and Strong’s information where available. This makes the app more than a devotional reader; it helps users understand what is behind the English translation. The app also includes tap-to-define dictionary support. Users can tap an English word in a verse and see definitions, examples, synonyms, audio pronunciation, and related Hebrew or Greek source words from that verse. For personal study, users can bookmark passages, highlight verses in multiple colors, and create study notes. Bookmarks appear in a quick-access strip, making it easy to move between saved passages without losing context. The app supports guest use and account-based syncing. A reader can start immediately as a guest, then later create an account or log in with email verification. Their guest notes and bookmarks can move into the account, so they do not lose study work when they decide to sync. Benefits Over Typical Bible Apps Many Bible apps focus mostly on reading plans, devotionals, social sharing, or basic verse lookup. This app is more study-centered. It keeps the reading experience simple, but adds language-level tools that are usually scattered across separate lexicons, dictionaries, and academic resources. The biggest advantage is that English reading, Hebrew/Greek source text, word definitions, Strong’s data, notes, bookmarks, and highlights live in one flow. A user can move from reading a verse to studying a specific word without leaving the passage.
