It tells you roughly how many words to trim. A 30-second video is only about 80 words; now you'll know before you film, not after. What's New in Scriptsmith 1.2 Clarity Score — A new 0–100 delivery score appears in the Write tab, below the pacing breakdown. It analyses your script for the four things that trip creators up on camera: sentences over 20 words, passive-voice constructions, filler words (basically, literally, kind of…), and hard-to-pronounce words. Expand the panel to see each issue flagged by name, with the exact snippet and a one-line fix. The score also appears at a glance in the script list so you know which drafts are ready to film before you open them. Clarity Report export — A new "Clarity report" export mode gives you the full analysis as shareable plain text: score, sentence count, issue list, and every flag. Copy it to the clipboard or share via the iOS share sheet. Three new frameworks — "Short Sentences Win," "Active Voice Only," and "Cut the Fillers" are added to the Frameworks quick-reference in the Learn tab.
