We’ve been working behind the scenes to strengthen security, so you can continue to use the app safe and sound.

We have improved our solution to compress images to ensure better recognition results while limiting the size of the images for local storage and processing to the accounting systems. Furthermore we have made some changes to further enhance the security of our application.

With the ever evolving phone cameras and screens, images have been becoming bigger. Therefore, we will now compress images so that you can continue uploading your images to Basecone without reaching the limit. Furthermore, we’ve given your camera more time to focus in auto-capture mode, and decreased the slumber when taking multiple pictures. Lastly, we fixed a sorting issue in the done list, before any of you found it.

Big news! Want to check if you already authorised a document? Or are you not sure what you paid your supplier last time again? You now have an overview where you can check your previously authorised documents called the Done list. For more information, go to http://support.basecone.com > To authorise in the Basecone app. Furthermore, expense claim users will now be informed when their IBAN is not filled so that expense claims sent are complete. Lastly, you can now use microphone in the Support section of our app, for this we are asking permissions.

We’ve done an update to solve the issue with iPhone 15’s macro functionality resulting in unclear pictures of small receipts.

A small update to make sure you can continue your hard work in the new year!

From now on you can choose to save pictures taken in the Basecone app locally on your device. This way you will not lose your pictures anymore! Also we fixed the bug where your previously taken picture showed bottom left when taking a new picture, so no more confusion.

We realised we made a mistake, but we solved it and gave you a little extra! You can now see both the code and name for Account code, Project, Cost center and Cost unit.
