Brite Trace is a mobile app designed to give caregivers of those with dementia the tools and resources they need to provide their loved ones with effective memory care. Here’s how it works: ⁃Build a profile - With our Personalized Profile, you can get to the root of who you loved one is, filling out questions within categories such as Hobbies and Interests, Favorite Things, Daily Routine, and Occupation and Skills. ⁃Receive caregiving suggestions - With our Actionable Guides, you can receive suggestions on how to address behaviors from 19 commonly occurring dementia symptoms. You can also provide feedback on how effective these suggestions are, to help keep track of what works. ⁃Keep track of your progress - With our Progress Chart, you can provide daily updates on your loved ones mood and your caregiving progress, with tools such as Mood scale, a 1-5 scale for tracking general mood, and the Daily Log, an open-ended journal to provide detailed accounts of your caregiving efforts. ⁃Discover long-term trends - With our Trend Calendar, you can observe and recall our progress in monthly intervals, allowing you to observe potential trends in behavior by viewing your daily updates from your Progress Chart and Actionable Guides. ⁃Build a community - With our Care Community, you can contact secondary and professional caregivers to schedule caregiving times for your loved one, giving you more flexibility and greater peace of mind. Other caregivers will also be able to view the progress you’ve provided, giving everyone a clearer picture of how to best care for your loved one. ⁃Capture precious memories - With our Digital Footprint, you can upload, store, and keep track of valuable memories with your loved one through pictures, videos. This will be your one-stop for all the cherished memories you and your loved one have shared.With all these tools at your disposal, Brite Trace can help you feel more confident in your caregiving abilities and give you peace of mind in knowing you’re doing everything you can for your loved one. -The Brite Trace app is in the early stages of development. We plan to add extra features soon to make this app even more interactive and powerful for you. Your feedback will help us continue to enhance the app.
