Redesigned Shot Entry
Recording shots just got faster and smarter. We've unified the rink tap and manual shot entry into a single, streamlined flow:
- Pick your shooter, choose the result (Goal, Save, Miss, or Blocked), and you're done. Three steps, no confirmation dialogs.
- Toggle "Detailed Mode" to add shot type (Wrist, Slap, Snap, Backhand, Tip), a 5-zone goalie target silhouette, and game situation -- all inline, no extra screens.
- Game situation (Power Play, Short Handed, Even Strength, Empty Net) is now auto-detected from active penalties and goalie status. You can still override it.
- Goals automatically prompt for 1st and 2nd assists. Skippable with a single tap.
- Your Quick vs. Detailed preference is remembered across sessions.
Shot Target Zones
Every shot can now have a target zone recorded -- where on the goalie the puck went. Tap the 5-zone goalie silhouette (Glove High, Blocker High, Glove Low, Blocker Low, Five Hole) right from the shot entry screen. No more separate popup after saving.
Edit & Backfill Shots
Tap any previously recorded shot to add details you skipped during live play. Quick-entry shots can be upgraded with target zones, shot types, and situational context after the fact.
Stability & Performance
Major internal restructuring for faster load times and improved reliability. Dozens of code quality improvements under the hood, including better iCloud sync architecture and a more modular codebase. No action needed on your part -- everything just works better.
