This new version adds a notable new feature, specifically the ability for edited photos to be added as duplicate to your library instead of just editing the original photos. This new system is actually the new default, which you can turn off in the app's settings. So why this sudden change? The only way we could make some edited metadata searchable in the Photos app (ie. keywords you added to a photo metadata) was to add the photo as a duplicate, instead of editing the original one. If you don't care about this feature, then you may disable it in the app's settings, but if you want the ability to search your edited photos by keyword, then this is necessary. Of course, to avoid having tons of duplicates, we have also added a prompt that asks you wether you want to delete the original files after the new ones have been created. Nothing else in the app has changed, but because this introduces a new workflow, we suggest you give it a test with a few sample photos. And again, if you don't like the new way, you can disable it in the app's settings. As always, thank you for your support!
