WOD Pro is a programmable strength training workout app with a multiple-affiliate competition leaderboard. We essentially brought the concept of the CrossFit Opens to our local Shoreline Community. WOD Pro is a fully programmable barbell class/WOD app that lets you program workouts seven days a week, multiple times a day, and records performance and progress individually. The app then broadcasts that data across all participating affiliates. WOD Pro will also post weekly workouts for all affiliates to participate in and score. These workouts will be simple and all will have descriptive Rx standards, making it easy for box owners and their athletes to complete. The affiliates can participate in the weekly WODs as they see fit. In addition, approximately four times a year, a series of three-week tournaments will be released. Points on a leaderboard will accumulate by athlete and by affiliate gym, ranking them accordingly. The more athletes an affiliate signs up for the quarterly tournaments, the more cash/kick-back the affiliate will receive. The app scores according to the amount of consistent participation and performance of athletes, but doesn’t penalize if for example a “Box” is doing something else that week. All affiliates are responsible for upholding Rx standards of movements and judging each athlete individually, as well as submitting and validating scores. • Increase participation while hosting tournaments and workouts at your own gym • Increase revenue • Build gym community as well as local shoreline community • Athlete goal motivation • Increase social media presence (athletes will be able to post their results right from the WOD Pro app) • Consolidate daily programming with comps and leaderboard in one app
