Customisable Control Bar: re-order the horizontal camera controls in Settings, so your most-used buttons sit closest to the shutter. Drag to reorder, and reset to defaults any time.
Photo Border: save your photos with a configurable border. Choose the thickness and pick black or white to match your look.
Date Stamp: burn an optional date and time overlay into your photos, right at capture. No extra editing step, no metadata-only stamp — the date is baked into the pixels.
This release also brings compatibility and UI improvements for iOS 27, plus stability fixes across the app.
Lockscreen widgets: Launch Vistax right from your lockscreen! For example you could make Vistax Camera Kit 1 your street photography preset, say with 3:2 aspect ratio, 1/1000s shutter speed, 48MP HEIC and a Delta 100 Black & White analogue film simulation, and set Camera Kit 2 to be your landscape camera kit with wide angle lens, 3 auto-exposure bracketing, ProRAW file format and golden triangles grid view. You can create up to 5 camera kits with any configuration you like, and launch Vistax fully configured with any of those, right from your lock screen!
Full 48MP capture support on iPhone 14 and later Pro devices for incredibly detailed shots. You can switch resolutions right in the app, without needing to navigate to a settings screen. 48MP resolution capture is supported for HEIC, JPEG and RAW / ProRAW.
