The latest update of iPadOS, iPadOS 26.4, brings back a Safari feature: compact tab bar. Unfortunately, it contains a bug that causes Safari to crash when you try to open the Noir menu (or any other extension). With this update, Noir now detects when you have the compact tab bar enabled, and if so, shows a warning when you try to open the Noir menu. Changing back your setting to the default separate tab bar will restore the Noir menu again. I'm really sorry about this. Unfortunately the crash is inside iPadOS, and beyond my control. I hope the bug gets fixed soon. Hello! I hope you're having a great day. The previous version of Noir included a bug that prevented Noir from working as intended on iOS 15. Sorry about that! Most of you are on a later version so didn't notice this, but if you're still on iOS 15, this update should fix any issue you may be having.
