Resistor Color Code Calculator helps you determine resistor values in ohms and their tolerance based on color-coded bands.
Follow these steps:
- Tap and select resistor color values from the color codes: black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, gray, and white.
- Select the resistor band.
- Tap the resistor band and choose the color value.
- The result is displayed immediately after setting the color value.
- The result can be copied.
- Take a screenshot of the resistor for future reference.

A resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. In electronic circuits, resistors are used to reduce current flow, adjust signal levels, divide voltages, bias active elements, and terminate transmission lines, among other uses. A resistor opposes the flow of electrical current; the higher the value of the resistor, the more it opposes the current flow. Values are given in ohms.
