NOTE:
Please note the following if you have enabled automatic logging in the background (indicated by the blue frame in the app):
Continued use of GPS in the background can drastically reduce battery life. In our experience, however, a full day of sailing can be done with it, nevertheless don't forget the 12V charging cable ;-)

New Features, Bug Fixes, and Improvements:
- The weather cache is now reset when switching providers
- In PDF export, entries with unknown COG/SOG values were displayed as 0 instead of ---
- If an NMEA RMC sentence had no COG/SOG (no value between the commas), it was incorrectly treated as zero; now it is correctly left out.
- After a course change, you must select a value of 25 or higher; otherwise, too many unexplained entries appear.
- Unused space in the header and on full-screen charts in A4 PDF format is now utilized
- You can now choose the colors used to shade the track on the chart (and in the PDF) based on its Mode
- Line breaks in the fuel tank help section have been corrected
- The list of votes for new features is randomly reshuffled every 24 hours
- Translation errors have been corrected
2.87 7월 14일

- When you make several quick manoeuvres, a confirmation button appears at the top so you do not need to scroll.
Fixed:

- In the PDF, text in the last column no longer shifts when you set a long label to wrap over two lines.
- Stability improvements in the NMEA overview.
- An incorrect value for GPS accuracy via NMEA in the data sources is fixed.
- The first water and fuel tanks are no longer pre-filled in the first logbook entry if they do not exist.

With this update, I’d like to share a few personal thoughts. I’m switching the payment model for NEW users from a one-time fee to an affordable annual subscription. New users will have plenty of time to test every feature without restrictions before they pay. For EXISTING CUSTOMERS who have already bought the app, nothing changes. Subscribing is optional and helps fund future development.
I hope many existing users will also choose to support the app voluntarily so that future features aren’t limited to new subscribers. Thank you very much in advance!
New Features
- Select multiple Quick Manoeuvres and change or set their type and mode. The mode stored in each Quick Manoeuvre is now also taken into account.
- New voting option to suggest and rank future features.
- The UISplitView on iPad now expands for a wider view.
- The weather icon for calm conditions now looks different from the no-clouds icon.
Fixed bugs
- If no results appeared in the Log tab after filtering, the filter/search bar would disappear and could not be reset.
- The search bar now stays in the right place when you open the app and switch to Tab 1.
- Logbook entries now sort correctly after a time zone change.
- Hidden icons in the Log tab are now fully hidden.
- Translations and errors in the implementation of offer codes from the previous update

- The new fuel tank stats show clear values for consumption and costs.
- Maintenance entries in the Tools tab are now easier to use and offer many export options.
- You can set the last column in the PDF export.
- I added the first in-app instructions for maintenance entries, Quick Manoeuvres and fuel tank stats.
- You can hide engines you do not have.
- You can now view and change the engine speed in the entry (entering via NMEA has been possible for some time, but displaying/changing was not).
- PDF and statistics no longer calculate distance without movement (for example, at anchor or moored).
- Sync links now use the same layout on iOS and Android.
- Translations have been corrected.
2.82 2월 24일
Minor additional improvements to last week's major changes.
- Headers in PDF were incorrect when changing the time zone from E->W in a logbook
- Sync stability improvement
- NMEA label position
- Water depth UI redesigned
- Fuel gauge caused the app to crash in rare cases
Here are the remaining new features:
- Some settings now have to be defined for each logbook. To avoid having to do this for each logbook, you can configure them in a template for new logbooks. For example, the engine settings and the number of tanks and their units.
- Entries without a position no longer count towards the log.
- NMEA values are smoothed (they are also smoothed on the plotter).
- Support for up to four fuel tanks.
- There is now a separate item in the entry for refueling (quantity and costs, statistics to follow).
- The entire Settings tab has been completely redesigned. Highlights:
- Syncing is now easier than ever and can be easily turned on or off.
- An order can now be specified for most data sources. For example, if the GPS position from NMEA is not available, use the GPS from the iPhone/iPad.
- Recording intervals are visualized with examples of their intended use to avoid creating too few entries.
- Entries after a course change are now an integral part of the recording logic.
- Warnings are displayed when settings are not optimal and can be improved, e.g., when the internal barometer cannot be accessed.
- Note for WiFi-only iPads that do not have GPS.
- There is a new introduction when you first open the app, but you will not see this after an update, only after the initial installation.
- Deleting entries within a time period or deleting entire logbooks at once has been completely redesigned.
- New in Quick Maneuvers
- These can now be linked to status changes to combine your own texts (such as "Dock at the lock") with a status change.
- The associated status changes are now also compatible with distinguishing which engine is running for which reason (for propulsion or power generation).
- The Apple Watch now also supports the new quick maneuvers.
- Stability for communication with the Apple Watch has been improved (there were occasional problems with older watches).
- Almost all settings from the old iOS settings have now been moved to the app, such as the filter for GPS accuracy.
- The feel and look when turning recording on/off has been improved.
- The complete settings on the map have been revised and are easier to use.
- Entries when stationary (anchored, moored, etc.) are no longer connected on the map, but this can be changed if necessary.
- All tanks (including water, etc.) can now be entered either by swiping or by tapping and using the keyboard.
- Only as many tanks are displayed as you have specified in the ship settings of the logbook.
- AI texts now also take into account whether it is a motorboat and there are no sails at all.
- Temperature UI revised.
- A new quick guide for empty logbooks.

- GPX import dialog completely revised

- Fixed translation error
- Filter on the map showed wrong values when filtering entries without position
- You now always have to swipe the same distance on the tanks to fill/empty, regardless of the tank size
2.79 2025. 10. 28.
- Fixed bug since iOS 26 where sometimes geocoding did not work

Note: Since the new iOS, the app sometimes hangs once a day when opening for about 30-40 seconds, this is a check of the consistency of the database of iOS, please wait for this freeze. I am still trying to find a better solution.
