Poetics has a new Edit mode! Tap Edit to select one or more words, then move, resize, or delete them together. New alignment and straightening tools make it easy to line words up, space them evenly, or turn a whole group horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. There’s also a new alignment grid for more precise placement. You can choose when it appears in Settings. These tools make arranging poetics faster and more precise, while staying playful. We’d love to see what you make; come share it with the Poetics community on Discord!

Minor bug fixes and update of music for the app preview.

This update features access for all app owners to the Poetics Discord community, where users can connect with one another, also the art and poetry movements connected to the project. The Discord is accessible on the Info > Connect screen. See you there :)

Poetics is a visual poetry app, developing the concept of an infinitely editable, object-oriented poetry. This major update now works on all iOS devices, features a ground-up rework of filters, allows creation of poetics in portrait and landscape orientation, changes default stying to text only (no box), and features a new carousel and gestural interface, with ability to zoom in and out of poetics, from thumbnail view to detailed editing and composition.
