The names under which the game is known are Euker, Eucre, Yuker, Eucha, Uker, etc. can be heard in different regions of the world. === THE RULES OF EUCHRE === Euchre is a trick-taking card game played by two fixed teams two. Any card of the trump suit outranks any card of a non-trump suit. By naming a suit, each team intends to win the majority of the tricks. If a bid succeeds the team scores one point. If a team wins all five tricks, he makes a “march”. Failure to win three tricks is referred to as being “euchered”.
