SKYE View™ 3 (v1.0) is an app specifically developed and dedicated for use with the SKYE WiFi 3 camera from ACCU-SCOPE Inc. and UNITRON Ltd. SKYE View 3 allows the user to use their mobile device to view live images, capture images, or capture video from the SKYE WiFi 3 camera (the mobile device connects to the camera via 5G or 2.4G IEEE 802.11ac signal). SKYE View 3 also permits camera control with functions such as resolution of image, light source type, white balancing, exposure, contrast, saturation, and gain. SKYE View 2 offers a library of measurement tools and, after calibrating the camera using the app and a stage micrometer, precise measurements of features in the sample image can be performed. The SKYE WiFi cameras attach easily to any manufacturer's microscope with an appropriate c-mount camera adapter (0.35x is recommended). With the SKYE View app, these cameras can accept 10 or more simultaneous connections from mobile devices, making them ideal in training and instructional environments. Due to limitations in available WiFi bands, up to 2 or 3 SKYE WiFi 3 cameras can operate simultaneously within the same classroom or laboratory.
