Countdown fix for long halts: • When the exchange extends a pause past 10 minutes, the timer now keeps counting through every 5-minute window instead of stopping. Some halts run 25, 30, even 60+ minutes, and the timer stays live the whole way. • The moment the exchange posts the real reopen time, the countdown switches to it. Thanks to the trader who reported it.

Under-the-hood fixes so the app is faster to open and easier to keep: • If you already subscribe, the app now opens straight to the halts — no stop at the subscribe screen while it checks. • Cleaner notifications: tapping an alert always opens the right screen, and the trial reminder is friendlier. • Halt alerts stop once a subscription ends.

Fixes from a trader's bug report — thank you, you know who you are: • Extended halts: when the exchange extends a pause past the standard 5 minutes, the countdown now rolls into the extension instead of stopping at zero. • The full-screen countdown now follows a stock onto its next halt when it halts again, with a badge showing which halt of the day it's on. • New in Settings: Compact display density — a tighter halt list so more fits on screen, built for narrow windows and smaller screens.

Tap a halt alert and the app now opens straight to that halt's countdown. The countdown picks up an official resumption time the moment the exchange posts it, instead of sitting on "Checking". Onboarding remembers where you left off, and there is a Restore button on the first screen if you are already a member. New in Settings: override the silent switch for halt alerts while the app is open, and preview the alert sound. A one-time Lifetime unlock is now available if you would rather not subscribe. Reliability work on setup and access. - The subscribe screen no longer gets stuck. If the App Store was slow to respond, the button could stay greyed out with no way forward. It now retries and recovers on its own. - If you bought Halt Scanner before it moved to a subscription, you go straight into the app with your lifetime access. A timing issue could drop you on the subscribe screen until you tapped Restore. - Notification permission is now asked at the right moment in setup instead of on the first screen, and returning owners are asked as well, so halt alerts actually reach you. - Fewer sign-in prompts at launch.
