GitSync is a git client that simplifies syncing a folder between a git remote and a local directory. With a simple one-time setup, it keeps your files synced using background tasks, Siri shortcuts, home screen widgets, and manual triggers. Supports iOS 13+ AUTHENTICATE • HTTP/S • SSH • OAuth (GitHub, GitLab, Gitea) CLONE & SYNC • Clone a remote repository (with optional shallow history) • Fetch, pull, stage, commit, push • Resolve merge conflicts • Retry automatically when the network returns SYNC MECHANISMS • On a recurring schedule (Enhanced Scheduled Sync, in-app purchase) • From a home screen widget (Force Sync and Manual Sync) • From an iOS Shortcut or Automation (including Siri) • From a custom URL intent (advanced) BROWSE & EDIT IN-APP • File explorer with code editor and image viewer • Recent commits plus file, line, and commit diffs • Branch management (create, rename, delete, checkout) • Multiple remotes (add, rename, delete, set URL) GITHUB & GITLAB INTEGRATION (when signed in via OAuth) • View, comment on, and create issues • View, comment on, and create pull requests • View workflow runs (GitHub Actions) AI FEATURES • Chat about your repository • Wand auto-complete on text fields like commit messages • Agent that can run repo actions for you • Separate model selection for chat, tools, and the wand • A global toggle to hide all AI features REPOSITORY SETTINGS • Signed commits • Customisable sync commit messages • Author details • Edit .gitignore and .git/info/exclude • Git filters: Git LFS and git-crypt • Disable SSL verification per repo MANAGE MULTIPLE REPOSITORIES via containers. OPTIONAL IN-APP PURCHASES • Premium — unlocks additional repositories, Git LFS, git-crypt, priority issue tagging • AI subscription — hosted AI for chat, wand, and agent (monthly credit cap) • Enhanced Scheduled Sync — recurring background sync with configurable intervals • Or become a GitHub Sponsor to unlock premium. ENTERPRISE Organisations can provision premium and AI access via an enterprise code with email verification. Admins can revoke access at any time.
