Tired of “comment for the recipe”? When a cooking video leaves the recipe out of the caption, Foodie can now find and import it from the creator’s website for you. Less chasing links, more cooking. Foodie respects paywalls and won’t unlock recipes that require a paid subscription, such as paid Substack posts and NYT Cooking recipes.

Recipe imports now recover more reliably if progress is interrupted. If an import fails, Foodie gives you clearer explanations and next steps. Fixed an issue that could prevent recipes from saving when shared from other apps.

You can now create Collections to keep your go-to recipes organized and easy to find. Turn cookbook pages into one ready-to-cook recipe. Import up to five photos, even when ingredients or steps overlap, and Foodie pieces them together. You can also share PDFs directly into Foodie. Ask Foodie about a specific ingredient, step, or note.
