Your movies, shows and live TV, beautifully played on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro. Strand brings everything you already have into one calm, fast home screen, and plays it the way it was meant to look and sound.
Strand is a player. It doesn't include any content: connect your own media server, network share or TV provider to get started.

Connect Jellyfin, Emby and Plex servers, or browse a WebDAV share. Artwork, cast, ratings and episode details are added automatically, and your collections appear exactly as you organised them.

Add an M3U playlist and its TV guide and get a fast, scrollable programme guide with channel search, favourites and reminders. Rewind with catch-up where your provider offers it, and record shows with a compatible recording server.

Watch up to four channels at once, and swap the sound between them with one tap.

4K with Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG. Dolby Atmos and lossless multichannel surround sound. Plays MKV, MP4 and more without converting anything, with matched frame rates on Apple TV.

Styled ASS/SSA and PGS subtitles, sizes and fonts you can tune per device, and subtitle search in your language when a file doesn't have the one you want.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
