New: Connection and light help. On the Launchpad selection screen, open it to see what to check when your Launchpad isn't listed, connects but shows no lights, or the app closes, with notes for the model you picked and a link to the maker's guide. Also in this update: - Launchpad S and Mini (first generation) on CoreFW now show the right red and green colours. - In small packs, every chain button fits on screen and can be tapped. - A pad dragged just past the left or top edge now stops when you lift your finger. - AutoPlay and step practice can be started again after they finish, and step practice waits for you to play its last step. - Stopping AutoPlay or changing modes no longer leaves a looping sound playing or releases the pad you are holding. - After a phone call, AutoPlay continues when you return to UniPad and its sound comes back. - Opening a pack, plugging in headphones or coming back after a call no longer stalls the screen. - More packs play as their makers intended: sound names that differ only in upper/lower case, ZIPs with a readme beside the pack, and a pad whose sound can't be read now moves on to its next sound. - Packs with broken or extreme sound files or numbers are handled safely instead of freezing or closing the app. - Pack warnings now say what is wrong, packs from the Files app keep their file name, and a failed store download stays marked "Failed". - Option panel section titles appear in your language.

UniPad now fills the whole screen on iPhone Duo, folded or unfolded, so the pads appear larger. This update also fixes three problems: - A looping sound no longer keeps playing after you release its pad when another finger changed the chain while it was held. - Sound comes back after a phone call or other interruption, as soon as you return to UniPad or press a pad. AutoPlay now pauses during an interruption instead of running on silently. - If UniPad closes while importing or installing a pack, the half-installed pack no longer shows up in your library (often as "An error has occurred."), and its leftover files are cleaned up.

Getting started and your library - Find your first UniPack with guidance in an empty library. - See clearer pack details after importing and use Play now to open that pack. - Download and import from the home cards, with duplicate toolbar icons removed. - Find Settings by name and see recently played packs on the home screen. - Search the loaded library without rereading every pack folder as you type. Library and pack-detail reads run in the background. - Keep selected-pack play counts and last-played details current after returning from play. - Deleting a pack clears its saved play history and bookmark after successful deletion, updates library totals, and shows deletion errors. Reimporting that pack starts fresh. Importing and downloading - Show a warning when an imported pack is missing sound files. - Keep import progress visible until the result is ready and prevent an earlier success from replacing a later failure. - Protect separate downloads and imports from sharing installation folders or removing each other's files. - Write pack downloads in chunks and clean up partial files after cancelled or failed transfers finish. - Ask about notifications on the first store download instead of at app launch. Downloads do not wait for permission; unanswered permission checks can be retried. - Point the update link to the current UniPad App Store page. Playing and lights - Fix app hangs when stopping repeated sounds, leaving play, or changing step-practice mode. Preserve the order of AutoPlay sounds, lights, and chain changes. - Fix a crash when playback helpers are released. - Keep endless light animations running past a processing limit and turn lights off on release. - Reject malformed light commands and limit out-of-range Launchpad brightness values. - Center the pad grid while keeping chains clear of the menu, and keep the theme background steady while a pack opens. Language and settings - Follow the device language and translate more device-status, pack-count, and community text. - Explain the pad tap-order number setting and its required play-screen switch. - Enlarge the Settings back button's touch area. Stability - Ensure the build includes the official protection against a server-data key that can cause an app crash. Thank you to Aezurolp for reporting the theme background problem, and to everyone helping us check UniPad.

Improved audio reliability and theme labels, and added usage metrics to help improve pack loading and playback.

- Fixed a crash that could close the app while playing, when switching autoplay or practice modes. - Launchpads running the Launchpad Core Firmware (CoreFW) are now supported, and the Launchpad selection screen was redesigned. - Matrix and Mystrix devices are recognised on both old and new firmware. - Opening a shared pack link now asks before anything is downloaded. - Legacy packs with Korean file names play their sounds again, and packs that load on Android now load the same way here. - A pack's backing track is no longer cut off after many pad hits. - If your bookmarks and play counts cannot be loaded, the app now tells you instead of silently not saving them. - Theme previews no longer get cut off on iPad.

- Launchpad Pro MK2 running the "Launchpad Open" custom firmware is now supported (Settings > Reconnect Launchpad > Launchpad Pro MK2 (CFW), or plug it in). - Settings > Play > Classic trace log: shows the tap order as numbers on each pad again, as before 4.1. - Fixed a possible crash when leaving practice mode while guide pads were lit.
