VA Ready is the place to keep your whole VA disability claim, from first record to final decision. Built by a veteran, for veterans and service members still in uniform.
KNOW YOUR RATING
See your combined rating with real VA math, including the bilateral factor, and your estimated monthly pay. Each of 765 conditions carries its full 38 CFR rating criteria, so you know what the examiner measures. TDIU and SMC calculators show what each would change.
KEEP YOUR CLAIM IN ONE PLACE
Scan, photograph or import every document into your Claim File. Each gets a label matching the VA's document types, a date and the condition it supports, and your evidence checklist ticks itself. Files saved to the VA Ready Documents folder import on their own. On Mac, drag and drop.
READY FOR VA
One tap builds a dated folder for each condition: your records, signed buddy statements, symptom logs and an optional claim journal. Every file is named with the document type to pick on VA.gov, plus an upload checklist.
SEND IT TO THE RIGHT PERSON
The Export Center makes one clean PDF for your VSO, your C&P examiner, a doctor writing a nexus letter, or yourself. Cover page and index included.
GET READY FOR YOUR C&P EXAM
A C&P/DBQ Guideline for each condition, an exam questionnaire you answer in your own words, and peer-reviewed studies mapped to your diagnostic codes, all exportable to PDF.
TRACK IT OVER TIME
A daily Symptom Tracker builds the frequency and severity record examiners look for. The Claim Journal keeps a dated timeline of every call, letter and decision.
FIND WHAT YOU MAY BE MISSING
Claim Intel shows the conditions commonly claimed for your MOS, AFSC or rating, plus PACT Act presumptives from the bases you served at and the aircraft you worked on. Secondary conditions commonly granted alongside yours are suggested for each claim.
SEE WHAT IT WOULD TAKE
What-If shows the claims your profile points to and the rating each would need to reach your next combined level.
NEVER MISS A VA DATE
One Upcoming list for your Intent to File expiration, VA evidence requests, decision review windows, C&P exams and VSO visits. Reminders never show your condition on the lock screen unless you choose. Print the schedule for the fridge.
STILL SERVING
A runway built around your separation date, a BDD screener, and a Reserve and Guard duty-status check.

VA Ready 3.0 is the biggest update yet. It went from a calculator you use once to the place you keep your whole claim, first record to final decision, organized the way the VA organizes it.
CLAIM FILE Scan, photo or import every document. Each one gets a VA-matching label, a date and the condition it supports. Drop files into the VA Ready Documents folder and they import on their own. On Mac, drag and drop.
READY FOR VA One tap builds a dated folder for each condition. Inside: your records, your signed buddy statements, your symptom logs and an optional claim journal. Every file is named with its VA.gov document type, and you get an upload checklist so nothing gets missed.
EXPORT CENTER Pick who it is for: your VSO, a C&P examiner, a doctor writing a nexus letter, or yourself. You get one clean PDF with a cover and an index.
START HERE New to filing? Eight plain steps that tick themselves off as you go.
NEVER MISS A VA DATE One Upcoming list holds every date that matters: Intent to File expiration, evidence requests, review windows and C&P exams. Print the fridge schedule, free.
WHAT-IF, REBUILT See the claims your MOS and exposures point to, the rating each would need, and the real VA math behind it.
BUDDY STATEMENTS A guide, five templates and real examples modeled on statements the Board credited.
A FULLY REDESIGNED APP Collapsible condition cards and color-coded ratings make a long claim easy to read.
ALSO NEW Free share pages for the pay chart, state benefits and a claim snapshot. Share your claim with a battle buddy. Backups now include all of your documents.
No account. No server. Your information stays on your device, and you back it up to your own cloud.
VA Ready is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The app prepares and organizes your claim. It does not file for you. You or a free VA-accredited VSO file it.
3.0.0 10월 14일
Version 2.0 is the biggest update since launch. Until now, every screen assumed you had already separated. That assumption is gone. VA Ready now serves service members still in, starting years before you get out, alongside the veterans it already served.
The day you sign out, your service treatment record is frozen. Nothing can ever be added to it. That is the only window that closes permanently, and 2.0 is built to help you use it while you still can.
PRE-SEPARATION MODE
A new Service Status control works out where you are from your separation date, and you can override it either way. It turns the Filing tab into a runway with five stages:
More than two years out: get your complaints into your service treatment record now
Two years to one year: chase down missing diagnoses while you still can
One year to 180 days: pull your records while you still have base access
180 to 90 days: the BDD window
Under 90 days: a standard pre-discharge claim
BDD SCREENER
A five question screener that covers the situations the VA handles outside the BDD program, so you know which path is actually yours. BDD does not promise a faster decision. What it does is move the waiting to while you are still in uniform and still getting paid, so you separate with your rating already decided.
NO NEXUS LETTER WHILE YOU ARE IN
A nexus letter bridges your service to a later diagnosis. While you are still serving, there is no gap to bridge. So Claim Readiness now counts four items instead of six, and complete is actually reachable.
VR&E CHAPTER 31 GUIDE
A full guide to Veteran Readiness and Employment, including the rule most people get wrong: if you were discharged on or after January 1, 2013, there is no time limit on your eligibility.
ALSO IN 2.0
Bilateral factor corrected in three places under 38 CFR 4.26, so some ratings may move a step
What-If now runs the real rating engine
Eye and ear conditions no longer split left and right
Diagnostic codes print correctly on the VSO packet
The Symptom Tracker is renamed and easier to find
VSO reviews can be stars only, no writing required
Search finds conditions the way a rating decision words them
A reminder to export a backup before you change phones
Everything still stays on your device. No account, no server. VA Ready is built by a veteran, points you to a free accredited VSO to file, and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
2.0.0 9월 27일
This update makes the whole app faster to move through, fixes a batch of miscoded conditions, and adds a long list of job codes veterans asked for.
New: every screen folds up now. Based on your feedback, the sections across the app collapse, so you no longer scroll past your conditions to reach your daily symptom log, or past a dozen assignments to find your matches. Tap a section shut, get straight to what you use most, and the app remembers what you left open.
Fixed: job codes pointing at the wrong diagnostic codes. A full sweep through the MOS and duty tables turned up conditions that named the right injury but carried the wrong code.
New: tendinitis and bursitis in both limbs now count as bilateral. If you are rated for tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, myositis, or heterotopic ossification in a paired joint (both shoulders, both wrists, both knees), you can now enter each side. Paired joints earn the bilateral factor under 38 CFR 4.26, which adds to your combined rating.
New: more job codes and more ways to find them. Added this month: Marine Corps 0916 Martial Arts Instructor, 6217 and 2502 Communications Officer, Air Force 46S3 Operating Room Nurse plus a rebuilt Nurse Corps, and Army 15E Pershing Missile Crewman. Search now also finds kyphosis, carbon monoxide poisoning, trunk scars, and 38 CFR section numbers typed straight in. Every one of these came from a veteran telling us it was missing.
Fixed: sharing the app sent no link. When you shared VA Ready, some apps stripped the App Store link out of the message, so your buddy got text with nothing to tap. The link is now sent on its own so it survives. If you shared the app before and nobody took you up on it, this is probably why.
1.9 9월 10일
New: save the collateral duties you held. In Claim Intel, Additional Duties, tap "I held this duty" on SERE, Auxiliary Security Force, Detainee Operations, Drill Sergeant, Airborne and the rest. They save to your profile and print on your claim summary, VSO packet and exposure profile. Collateral duties carry exposures and claimable conditions your primary MOS does not imply.
New: edit or delete symptom log entries. Tap any entry in your history to view it, then edit or delete. Deleting asks first and cannot be undone.
New: record every period of service properly. The same MOS can now attach to more than one period, so a 13F who served Active Duty and later National Guard can record both instead of picking one.
Fixed: purchases now tell you what went wrong. If a subscription does not go through, the app says why instead of doing nothing. It also recognizes a purchase waiting on approval and tells you not to buy twice. Repeated card refusals are usually the store account, not the card.
Improved: search explains itself. Search a symptom like "urinary frequency" or "nerve entrapment" and each result shows which of your terms matched it, so an unfamiliar clinical name makes sense.
Fixed: MOS type survives a backup restore between iPhone and Android. Primary, secondary and prior no longer collapse to primary.
New this month: nerve entrapment and pinched nerve now findable across 18 diagnostic codes. Added E-3 Sentry (AWACS), Army 18Z and 18F, Navy Auxiliary Security Force and Detainee Operations. Corrected Air Force AFSC titles (2E2X1, 2A8X1, 2A8X2, 2A9X1) and added 3D1X2. Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, Fort Gordon, Fort Polk and Fort Rucker restored to current names with the interim names still searchable. Fort A.P. Hill added.
1.8.4 8월 26일
Version 1.8.3
PERIODS OF SERVICE
Record each enlistment separately with its dates, component, and MOS. Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard. Your exports now show your full service history instead of one date range.
Two minor bugs:
Symptom log PDFs were silently dropping entries with long notes. If you exported a symptom log before this update, some entries may be missing from the PDF. Nothing was ever lost from the app. Re-export and you will have the complete record.
Flat feet, claw foot, weak foot, and metatarsalgia were allowing a left and a right rating to be entered separately. The VA rates those as a single condition. If you entered one on both sides, remove the extra side. Your combined rating estimate may have been estimated higher than it could be.
Also in this update: Restart Setup now works and asks what to restart, your service history, your claim, or everything.
1.8.3 8월 17일
Minor Bug Fixes and SMC updates.
1.8.2 8월 15일
VSO FINDER, REBUILT
The old search stopped at state lines. Now it doesn't. A new server-side search covers 26,621 places including cities, counties, and ZIP codes across all 50 states. Radius ladder at 50, 150, and 500 miles. Distance shown on every result. Typing "Texarkana TX" now returns the closest office, which happens to be in Arkansas. Offline falls back to the cached engine.
VSO PACKET: EVIDENCE CITATIONS
Tap any document in your evidence record and add the specific file and page where it appears. Prints as an evidence index on the packet cover. Your VSO opens to exactly where the record is.
CLAIM READINESS, REBUILT
No longer a bar and a number. Now it names the next missing document for each condition, and each row opens that condition's checklist. Every row looks and works like a button.
TDIU: PURSUING OR GRANTED
TDIU used to be one switch. A vet filing for TDIU printed on their packet as already rated at percentages that aren't possible under 38 CFR 4.16(a). Now it's three states: none, pursuing, or granted. Two plain checkboxes. Existing grants never silently downgrade.
REMAND TRACKING
Remand is now a Navigator step and a journal stage with its own icon. The copy has been corrected against 38 CFR 20.802(c), 3.2502, and 20.800(e). The previous text described
the legacy rule, not the current one.
NOTES EXPORT
Notes and C&P exam notes now print per condition in the export. Pro users get a PDF.
BACKUP FIXES
Assigned bases and worked airframes were silently dropped on iOS backups. The claim journal, VSO appointments, and Navigator routes were in no backup on either platform.
TDIU pursuing status was lost through a restore. All closed.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
MOS alias search. A Marine searching "infantry" now finds 0311 Rifleman. Five gynecological condition rating tiers corrected against 38 CFR 4.116. The unified VSO packet
builder.
Everything stays on your phone.
No account. No tracking.
1.8.1 8월 13일
Version 1.7.0
THE CLAIM JOURNAL
Your claim doesn't end at the rating. It keeps going for years. Now there's somewhere to keep all of it.
Timeline. Notes with a topic, from Intent to File and C&P exams through VA home loans and student loan discharge. Search it years later.
Evidence record. Every document you have, who wrote it, and the date it reached the VA. Anything you gathered but never sent gets flagged.
Condition reviews. A yearly line per rated condition: better, the same, or worse, what changed, and what it cost you at work.
IT STARTS THE ENTRIES FOR YOU
File an HLR, get a decision, or book a VSO visit, and the app offers a ready-made entry with the dates already worked out. You read it before anything saves.
REMINDERS THAT KNOW THE DEADLINES
An Intent to File is good for one year, so the reminder lands at ten months. A decision starts a one-year window, so that one lands at nine. Every suggested date shows its reasoning.
EXAM QUESTIONNAIRE
The questions a C&P examiner actually asks, answered on a calm day in your own words. Flare-ups, good days, average days, bad days. Export as a clean PDF to read back the night
before or file with the VA on a 21-4138.
MY VSO IS ITS OWN TAB
Your pinned office, upcoming visits, veteran ratings, and the full directory, all in one
place.
ALSO IN THIS UPDATE
VSO data is fixed nationwide. Bell County, Texas had one office listed when ten serve the
area. Counties are filled in across the country and missing national offices are back.
Find a VSO loads much faster.
Bilateral conditions log separately. Logging one shoulder no longer overwrites the other.
Backdating a log entry saves to the day you picked.
Autocorrect stays out of your notes.
Everything stays on your phone. No account, no tracking.
1.7.0 8월 9일
Back Pay Estimator
See what your retroactive VA compensation could be, from your Intent to File date through your decision. A clear estimate with a month by month breakdown, built on real VA pay tables going back to 2021.
- Set your expected ratings, dependents, and dates, and get a figure you can screenshot.
- Filing for an increase? It counts only the raise above what you already receive, so the number is real back pay, not an inflated total.
- Knows the effective date rules, including the day after discharge rule for vets who separated within the last year.
- Flags what could reduce your back pay (retired pay, severance recoupment, drill pay, attorney fees, VA debt) in plain English, so a smaller check never blindsides you.
- Intent to File tips built in, because filing fast is what protects your effective date.
Estimates only. What you actually receive depends on what the VA grants and when.
Also in this update
- Cleaner text at the largest accessibility sizes, so ratings, percentages, and dollar amounts stay readable on iPad and Mac.
- The usual fixes and polish.
1.6.0 8월 3일
Version 1.5.1. Appeals, tracked properly.
The claim tracker now splits appeals into three separate lanes: Supplemental Claim, Higher-Level Review, and Board Appeal. Each has its own timeline, its own "what the VA is doing" status, and its own do's and don'ts. No more generic "In Appeal."
Two new strategy guides join the existing Supplemental Claim guide. Higher-Level Review and Board Appeal are both cited to VA.gov and the CFR.
Also fixed: rating badges were cutting off ("30%" turning into "3…") on the Claim Readiness screen. Clean now on both platforms.
Built by vets. For vets.
1.5.1 8월 1일
VA Ready runs on your Mac now, and you can copy anything.
Now a real Mac app, with a resizable window and menu bar. Build and research your claim at your desk.
Select and copy any text: a rating criterion, a line of nexus language, a whole list. VA links, phone numbers, and addresses are tappable too.
Set your text size from Profile to make the whole app easier to read.
Combined ratings now match the VA's own table to the number, including a rounding case that could cost you 10 points.
Housebound (SMC-S) alert: if one disability is 100% and the rest combine to 60% or more, we flag a benefit you may qualify for.
Find your ship, aircraft, or vehicle by the name you actually use.
1.5.0 7월 28일
See what else you can claim. Every condition on My Claim now shows the secondaries the VA commonly grants, with the right diagnostic code, ready to add.
What's New in This Version:
See what else you can claim, right on your claim.
POTENTIAL SECONDARY CONDITIONS
Every condition on My Claim now shows the secondaries the VA commonly grants because of it. Tap to expand, see each one with its diagnostic code, and add it as a new claim in one tap. (Pro)
COPY AND PASTE
Press and hold to select and copy text across the app: ratings, criteria, condition and base names, and your full C&P and DBQ prep. Handy for dropping a line into your notes or a message to your VSO.
EXPORT YOUR C&P / DBQ PREP
Open any condition's Filing Guide and export a clean, branded PDF: what the examiner measures, the rating ladder, service-connection paths, evidence, and nexus language. Walk into your exam prepared. (Pro)
CLEANER, MORE ACCURATE SUGGESTIONS
Secondary suggestions no longer list the same condition twice, and adding one always carries the correct diagnostic code.
FIXES AND POLISH
The Special Monthly Compensation badge now fits its label cleanly, plus a round of smaller fixes and refinements throughout.
Questions or ideas? Send feedback anytime from your Profile.
1.4.1 7월 19일
A clearer calculator and sharper search.
See the full math on screen. Your combined rating is now built step by step — every condition, the bilateral factor, and The amputation rule laid out plainly — with your estimated monthly payment right at the top.
Left and Right, labeled right. Add one side of a knee or shoulder and it reads "Left" or "Right," not "Bilateral." Only a true both-sides pair earns the 10% bilateral factor.
Search that handles the details. Commas no longer break it, so you can paste a line straight from your decision letter, and condition names like "Ankle, ankylosis of" come right up.
Cervical and lumbar strain, on their own. Neck and low-back strain share one VA code but are rated separately — now they're two entries you can add and combine.
More conditions, jobs, and places. Added the USMC Marksmanship Instructor role, Manas Air Base, and a batch of new search terms so more conditions turn up the first time you look.
Built by a vet, for vets.
1.4.0 7월 13일
The Claim Navigator is here — a GPS for your VA claim.
Tell the Navigator where you are and it maps the whole process, turn by turn: where you're standing, your next move, and what comes after. 13 starting points cover every situation — a new claim, a secondary condition, a PACT Act (toxic-exposure) claim, an increase, a dependent, SMC, TDIU, waiting on a decision, a C&P exam, a decision letter, a denial, or a proposed reduction.
Traffic & detours — see the typical VA wait for each step, and where you have a choice in how to file (Fully Developed vs. standard, Supplemental vs. Higher-Level Review vs. Board), compare every option and its timing.
Reminders, guides & PDF — set a reminder for any deadline, open the exact guide for each step, track more than one route at once, and export any route as a clean PDF for your VSO.
• Explore every route before you commit.
• New guide: Reading Your VA Decision Letter.
• Cleaner navigation — five focused tabs, with Profile one tap away.
The Claim Navigator is a Pro feature. Thanks for serving — we've got your six. By Vets for Vets.
1.3.0 7월 5일
More of your service — on a bigger screen.
• Full-screen on iPad — every screen and pop-up now fills your iPad, so the condition picker, filing guides, and detail views are easier to read and
tap.
• Navy nuclear community, done right — Machinist's Mate, Electrician's Mate, and Electronics Technician (Nuclear) are now split between submarine and
surface, each with its own exposure profile — plus secondary qualifications (ELT, Engineering Watch Supervisor, Nuclear Welder).
• Hundreds of new bases worldwide — a big expansion of the Exposure Calculator, stateside and overseas. If your base wasn't there before, search
again.
• More aircraft and vehicles — added the MV-22 Osprey, F-35, KC-46, and a full ground-vehicle fleet (HMMWV, MRAP, JLTV, LAV), each with the right
exposure links.
• New guides for rating reductions & appeals — proposed reductions, protected ratings (the 5-, 10-, and 20-year rules), total-disability protections,
Clear and Unmistakable Error (CUE), and your due-process rights, each cited to the governing regulation.
• Fixes & polish — corrected rating screens that could highlight two options at once, restored the Left/Right toggle on shin splints, sharpened
search, and improved stability throughout.
Thank you for your service.
1.2.4 6월 27일
Ipads now supported! Minor bug updates, and improvements!
1.2.3 6월 15일
iPad support is here.
VA Ready now runs natively on iPad — more room for the Medical Evidence library, symptom logs, and PDF export.
Plus minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
Built by a veteran, for veterans.
1.2.2 6월 14일
Find your base faster. Search now matches older names, alternate names, and state, so installations like Fort Gordon, Fort Polk, and Lackland come up no matter how you search for them.
Fixed a crash some veterans hit when adding multiple tours at the same base, plus other stability improvements.
Four more installations are now in the app, including Ramstein, Andersen, Fort Jackson, and Fort Johnson, each with documented exposure profiles.
The research library keeps growing, now over 1,500 peer-reviewed studies across 280+ conditions, with new coverage including Parkinson's, ALS, MS, and TBI.
1.2.1 6월 5일
Medical Evidence
See the peer-reviewed research and case precedent connected to your conditions. When you're building a claim or fighting for approval, review the studies that establish service connection, read what applies to your situation, and export it to bring to your VSO, your provider, or your C&P exam. Every source is peer-reviewed or pulled from the regulations.
VA Form Helper
Confused about which VA form you need and what it actually does? The form helper walks you through the key VA forms in plain English — what each one is for, when to use it, and what it does for your claim. No more guessing whether you need a 21-526EZ, a 20-0995, or a 21-4138.Service Date & Period Calendars
Enter your service dates and deployment periods with a clean calendar interface. Accurate dates mean accurate timelines, eligibility windows, and presumptive matching.Enhanced Export
Generate cleaner, better-organized PDFs of your symptom logs, claim notes, and supporting evidence — ready to hand to your VSO, attach to your claim, or bring to an appointment. As always: free, private, no data leaves your device.
Built by a veteran, for veterans.Keep the feedback coming. The system gets better because of you.
1.2.0 5월 30일
Minor bug fixes, and backing up your data for recovery if errors are made.
1.1.3 5월 28일
Two new features built from veteran feedback, plus fixes from everyone who hit "Send Feedback" this month.
RATE AND RECOMMEND A VSO
You know which VSOs fight for you and which ones phone it in. Now you can share that with other veterans walking through the door. Tap any representative in Find Help to rate them and see average ratings from veterans who actually worked with them.
GUARD & RESERVE DUTY STATUS CHECKPOINT
If you served National Guard or Reserve, not every period of your service counts the same way for VA claim purposes. Title 10, Title 32, ADT, IDT, full-time National Guard duty, drill weekends — the rules get complicated fast, and most veterans don't realize their drill periods have a different standard than mobilizations. The new checkpoint walks you through your service periods and explains which ones establish service connection under what conditions, which need Line of Duty documentation, and where PACT Act presumptions might apply regardless of your duty status. Built for Guard and Reserve veterans who've been getting the short end of generic claim tools.
BUG FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
Left/right toggle now works on conditions with analogous diagnostic codes (PFPS, ganglion cyst, shin splints, chronic pain)
Add the same base multiple times with separate date ranges for multiple deployments (Bragg 2007 and Bragg 2010 stay distinct)
MOS picker sorts alphabetically by title — Security Forces and other common roles surface immediately
Navy and Coast Guard rate search handles paygrade suffixes (typing "MM3" finds MM)
NEW DATA
5 new MOSes including Air Force 1C0X2 ARMS and Marine Corps 6469 RTCASS
Diesel generator exhaust and JP-8 fuel added to Air Force tactical comm AFSC exposures (1D7X1, 3D0X2, 2E2X1)
20 Germany duty stations added — Friedberg, Kitzingen, Schweinfurt, Würzburg, Grafenwöhr, Vilseck, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, KMC, and more
Heat injury residuals (DC 8099-8045) with the rate-by-system framework
Chronic idiopathic constipation (DC 7399-7319) with prescription medication guidance for evidence
Search aliases added for cardiac conduction conditions (RBBB, LBBB) and post-op scars
POLISH
VoiceOver labels added across icon buttons for accessibility
Benefits tab caches your state after first load — instant on return visits
Review prompts respect long-time users (no asking during a 20-condition claim build)
KEEP THE FEEDBACK COMING
Almost everything in this build came from veterans hitting "Send Feedback" in the app. Hit a dead end? Send it through. Most data fixes go live same day. Code fixes ship in the next build. You served. Now get what you've earned.
1.1.2 5월 24일
v1.1.1 — Exposure Calculator
Tell the app where you served. It cross-references your bases, airframes, and deployments against the PACT Act, Camp Lejeune, AFFF/PFAS, K2, Agent Orange, and 30+ other registries. Then it shows you every presumptive condition you may be eligible to claim.
What's new:
Exposure Calculator — personalized exposure profile based on your MOS, bases, and service dates
Per-condition notes — track medical record references, evidence, due-outs, and appointments for each claim
8,949 accredited VSOs in the Find Help directory, sortable by distance
All 749 conditions audited against current 38 CFR — corrections to carpal tunnel, peripheral nerve codes, TBI, amputations, sleep apnea, and more
Multiple smaller fixes from user feedback
Free for the whole flow. Pro unlocks the full exposure profile, all 50 state benefits, and complete filing guides.
Built by a retired CW2 who just went through the VA claim process himself.
1.1.0 5월 17일
Find Help is now national.
8,949 accredited VSO representatives across all 50 states, pulled directly from the VA's official accreditation API. Up from 1,496 in v1.0.14.
What's new:
- Search by name, county, city, or ZIP across the full directory
- "Closest to me" — sorted by distance, miles shown on each row
- Tap to switch states instantly for veterans helping family elsewhere
- Larger Call and Email buttons with haptic feedback
- County grouping for states with 50+ representatives
Other fixes:
- MOS picker now finds names with apostrophes (Torpedoman's Mate, etc.)
- Punctuation-tolerant search across the database
- Help screen numbers updated to reflect current database scope: 741 filing guides, 1,044 MOS profiles, 749 conditions, 211 state benefits
Free to download. No login. No tracking. Built by a retired CW2 because veterans should be able to find help without paying for it.
1.0.15 5월 12일
v1.0.14 — International support, VSO Finder, more MOS coverage
NOW WORLDWIDE FOR US VETERANS
A US veteran living in Australia messaged me asking when he could use the app. The honest answer should always have been now — US veterans living abroad file the same VA claims under the same 38 CFR. The app applies to them the same way.
This release adds country selection and abroad-specific content: Foreign Medical Program enrollment, the Pittsburgh Regional Office that handles foreign claims, international banking for direct deposit, and country-specific tax considerations. App Store availability now includes Australia, UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand to start, with more to follow.
VSO FINDER (BETA)
The app has always told you to file your claim with a free accredited VSO. Now it helps you find one. New "Find Help" tab pulls from American Legion, VFW, DAV, AMVETS, and VA-accredited Field Benefits Units. Beta launch covers six states + 21 FBUs + national HQs. State coverage will expand based on user feedback.
If you're a VSO and want your post or chapter listed, message me at support@vareadyapp.com.

SEARCH HARDENING
Three small but real fixes from your feedback:
- Trailing punctuation (typing "shoulder," with a comma) no longer breaks the search
- Common phone keyboard typos (b/v, n/m, o/p, etc.) are caught in fuzzy match
- Single-character searches no longer trigger noisy database queries
BUG FIXES
- Various stability improvements
- State benefits now correctly defaults to user's selected state for Pro users
- Improved handling of legacy MOS codes during profile import
