A focused, reliable metronome built for jazz practice.
Most metronomes are designed for classical practice — strict downbeats, even subdivisions, a click on every beat. Jazz asks for something different. Jazzlore Metronome is built for the way jazz musicians actually train:
- Click on 2 and 4 — the foundation of jazz time-feel. Internalize the offbeat pulse the way the rhythm section does, instead of leaning on a downbeat crutch.
- Skip-measure practice — click for one measure, silent for the next. Then two-on, two-off. Then four-on, four-off. It's how you build a bulletproof internal clock that doesn't collapse the moment the metronome drops out.
- Tap tempo for when you know the feel before you know the BPM.
- Clean, distraction-free interface — large legible tempo, full-screen, dark by default. Made to sit on top of the piano without competing for attention.
No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. The app does one thing and gets out of the way. Works offline — open the app, set the tempo, practice.
