Welcome to Studio 1224, a boutique Reformer Pilates studio in the heart of Braintree, Essex.
Our mission is simple: to help people move better, feel stronger, and build confidence through expert coaching and a supportive community.
Unlike larger fitness facilities, we've intentionally created a small, coaching-focused environment where every member receives individual attention and support. With just six reformers per class, our instructors can provide guidance, encouragement, and personalised coaching to help you get the most from every session.
Whether you're completely new to Reformer Pilates, returning to exercise, looking to improve strength and mobility, recovering from injury, or simply wanting to invest in your long-term health, our classes are designed to meet you where you are.

Studio 1224 was founded by Connie and Lorenzo, combining backgrounds in dance, strength training, coaching, rehabilitation, and performance. Together, they've created a space where movement is accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for everyone.
Our team regularly attends and supports each other's classes to ensure we continue learning, developing, and delivering the highest standards of coaching to our members.
