JenDie is inspired by the legendary Jen SX-1000 — the classic Italian monophonic analog synthesizer of the late 1970s — reimagined for your iPhone and iPad. Every oscillator, filter, and envelope has been carefully modeled to recreate the warm, gritty, unmistakable character of that vintage analog sound, now in a modern, touch-first instrument.
Use JenDie as a standalone synth or as an Audio Unit (AUv3) plug-in inside GarageBand, AUM, Cubasis, Logic Pro for iPad, and any AUv3-compatible host.
KEY FEATURES
• Faithful Jen SX-1000 emulation — true-to-hardware VCO, VCF, and envelope behavior, including analog drift for an authentic, living tone.
• Authentic & Clean modes — choose vintage character or a cleaner, more precise sound.
• Continuous waveform morphing — sweep smoothly between waveforms instead of switching in steps, with automatable control for evolving leads and basses.
• Pulse width & PWM — shape and modulate the pulse waveform for rich, animated timbres.
• 46 factory presets — from classic vintage leads and basses to new morphing patches designed for automation.
• Full preset management — save, organize, and recall your own sounds; presets are stored in the Files app for easy backup and sharing.
• Multi-touch keyboard — playable on-screen keyboard with multi-finger support.
• Pinch-to-zoom interface — zoom and pan the panel for precise control on any screen size.
• MIDI support — play JenDie from any connected MIDI controller, with a built-in MIDI Panic control.
• Optimized for iOS — efficient DSP designed to run smoothly on iPhone and iPad.
