TDminator is a performance editor and programmer for the Behringer TD-3 — and every color variant (TD-3-BK, RD, SR, AM, BU, WH…) plus the TD-3-MO. Program patterns on a fast piano-roll grid, generate 303-style acid lines in a tap, and send them straight to the hardware — or run the built-in sequencer with no device connected at all.

— PIANO-ROLL PATTERN GRID —
• Single-octave grid with a modern piano-key pitch column and octave-selector rows — the whole pattern on screen, no scrolling
• Note-name labels (C3, G3…) on every active note
• Per-step Accent and Slide rows, column-aligned with the 16 steps
• Numbered step header with brighter downbeats and 4-step group dividers
• Red-glow playhead that lights every step as it plays
• Darkened sharp-note rows for easy tracking
— KEYBOARD ENTRY —
• Tracker-style two-row computer keyboard for fast note entry
• Arrows move the cursor and shift pitch; Shift+Up/Down transposes the whole pattern
• Keys for accent and slide that advance the cursor as you type
• Auto-scroll to the octave of a typed note
— TRANSPORT & CONTROLS —
• Play, Tap tempo, BPM and Steps — click, drag or scroll to set values
• Step count snaps to 2/4/6/8/12/16
• Monitor button to audition notes
• Group (I/II/III/IV) and Section (A/B) selectors
• RANDOM generates scale-locked 303-style acid lines — acid scales, octave hops, groove density, beat accents and glides
— TALKS TO YOUR TD-3 —
• Full TD-3 MIDI SysEx control — works with every TD-3 color edition and the TD-3-MO, which share the same pattern protocol
• Auto-reconnect: connects the moment a TD-3 appears and goes offline when unplugged, with live MIDI port detection
• Explicit Backup (device → file) and Send (file → device) so you're always in control
• Software fallback sequencer when no hardware is connected
— IMPORT & EXPORT —
• Synthtribe .sqs bank import and export
• MIDI (.mid) export — single pattern or the whole bank as one file per pattern
• Exports read the device when connected, or the saved bank when offline
— AUv3 + STANDALONE —
Run TDminator standalone or as an Audio Unit v3 inside AUM, GarageBand, Cubasis, Logic and any AUv3 host. Tempo and transport follow the host, the editor is fully resizable, and everything scales to fit — iPhone, iPad, Mac.
