KidSafeScan checks a product against each person's own allergen list and answers SAFE, CAUTION, or AVOID. No health score. No grade out of 100. One answer, readable at arm's length in a grocery aisle.
IT CATCHES THE NAMES YOU'D MISS
Milk hides as casein, whey, ghee, and lactalbumin. Wheat hides as semolina, farina, and spelt. KidSafeScan matches hundreds of these alias names across the nine allergens US labels are required to declare: milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, and sesame.

Add everyone you shop for. Family members are never limited, on any plan. Every scan is judged against all of them at once, and the result tells you exactly who it's a problem for — and why.
YOU DECIDE HOW CAREFUL
"May contain peanuts" is a voluntary warning, not a required one. For a severe reaction, KidSafeScan treats it as AVOID. For a milder one it shows CAUTION and leaves the call to you. Set this per person.

IT WILL NEVER GUESS
KidSafeScan does not return SAFE when the evidence is missing. Unreadable text, an incomplete record, a database entry that hasn't been checked in months — all of it resolves toward caution, never away from it. Judgment is deterministic rules, not a model's opinion.
YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Family profiles, allergen lists, and scan history live on this device and in your own iCloud backup. They are never uploaded. A barcode lookup carries the barcode and nothing else. No allergy information reaches a server or an analytics tool, ever.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Ten scans a month free, with unlimited family profiles. Premium removes the monthly scan limit — it does not unlock a different verdict.
