Can you keep the water flowing?
Water4Life is a water treatment management game that puts you in charge of operating a community water supply.
Manage production, maintain water quality, respond to equipment problems and decide when to invest in upgrades — while keeping an eye on operating costs and the needs of your community.
You’ll manage the plant through practical operational decisions, including:
• Water production and supply• Reservoir storage and reserve capacity• Pumps and treatment equipment• Chemical dosing and water quality• Maintenance and equipment faults• Plant upgrades and improvements• Operating costs and financial performance• SCADA and process monitoring• Unexpected operational challenges
Water4Life is designed to make water treatment management understandable even if you have never worked in the water industry.
Start with a manageable treatment plant, learn how the system responds to your decisions, and gradually take on more responsibility as your operation grows.
Every decision has consequences. Running equipment harder can increase production, but it can also increase costs and maintenance requirements. Delaying maintenance may save money today but create problems tomorrow. Producing enough water is important — but so are water quality, reliability and financial sustainability.
