Teleb moves a file from one phone to another using nothing but a screen and a camera. One phone displays a stream of codes. The other points its camera at that screen and rebuilds the file, byte for byte. That is the entire transport. There is no internet connection, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no cable, no pairing, no account, and no server — because there is nowhere for the data to go except across the gap between the two devices. WHEN THIS IS THE RIGHT TOOL • On a plane, underground, or anywhere with no signal • Across an air gap, where a network connection is not permitted • Between an iPhone and an Android phone, with no shared app or account • When you would rather not hand a file to a cloud service on its way across a table • On a locked-down or guest network you do not trust HOW IT WORKS Pick a file. The other phone shows a code; you scan it once to agree on a key. Then your screen fills with a moving code and their camera reads it. Hold the phones facing each other and wait. Missing a frame does not break the transfer. Teleb uses fountain coding, so every frame is equally useful and none is essential — a dropped frame costs a little time, never the file. There is no back-channel to ask for a resend, and none is needed. ENCRYPTED, AND VERIFIABLE Every transfer is encrypted agreement andXChaCha20-Poly1305. Before anything is sent, both phones show the same three words. If the words match, you are ont of you. If they do not,someone is in the middle — and you will know before a single byte leaves. What arrives is checked against the sender's fingerprint. If one byte is wrong, nothing is written. WHAT IT IS NOT Teleb is not fast, and it ishrough a camera is a narrowchannel. Teleb tells you before you start rather than letting you discover it twenty minutes in, and the app has a full page describing exactly. Both phones have to sit stilthe whole transfer. This will never feel like AirDrop. It works where AirDrop cannot. NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING, NO DATA COLLECTED Teleb has no sign-up, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. It collects nothing, because it has nowhere to see app ships with no networkpermission at all, which you can verify in system settings. On iOS you can check it yourself just as easily: tur it exactly as normal.
