Talk for thirty seconds. It comes back as a finished diary entry, written in the language you spoke.
Instant Journal never translates and never asks. Whatever language you think in is the language your journal is in, and if you switch languages mid-sentence it follows you there. Most voice journals handle English well and everything else poorly. This one just writes down what you actually said.

2. Stop when you're done, or just fall silent and it stops for you.
3. Your night is written down. Edit it whenever you like.

Recording last night's day over this morning's coffee used to file the entry under this morning. Tap the date at the top of any entry to move it to the night it belongs to, and set the time while you're there.
The recording time is kept and shown underneath, so nothing is rewritten. Your calendar, search, and exports all follow the date you chose.
