Two triangles when there are two.
Give a solver two sides and an angle that is not between them and there are often two different triangles that fit the numbers. Most calculators pick one and say nothing. This one shows both, side by side, and lets you open either.
Nothing when there is nothing.
Sides of 1, 2 and 3 do not make a triangle, and neither do 1, 2 and 10. Instead of an answer whose angles do not add to 180, you get the reason in plain words, with your own numbers in it.
Keeps the digits you typed.
A side of 7.03125 stays 7.03125. Rounding happens once, at the moment of display, and you choose how many significant digits — not decimal places, so a very small angle keeps its digits instead of collapsing to zero.
Shows the law it used.
Every result names the law behind it: the law of sines, the law of cosines, the angle sum, the triangle inequality. Open The laws to see each formula and when it applies, including the one-line test that decides whether two triangles fit.
Six ways in.
Three sides, two sides and the angle between, two angles and the side between, two angles and another side, two sides and an angle apart, or a right triangle from two of its parts. The little triangle on each button shows which parts you are giving, so the ambiguous one is never a guess.

The angle unit and the digit setting are not locked behind anything. Nothing is converted when you change the length label either, because a triangle is the same shape in any unit.
