30 CASE STAGES
Open CASE STAGES for short chess puzzles: mate in one or two moves, defend your king and create knight forks. Each case awards one gem on its first clear only. Replay and retry freely without spending gems. Case progress is separate from the 50-stage campaign.
EXPLORE 50 STAGES
Tap START to begin a journey through 50 sequential AI stages. Win to unlock the next stage, earn stars and travel through changing space environments. Your progress and unfinished game are saved on your device.
A CLEAR 2D BOARD
Play on a clear 2D board with neon pieces. Highlighted legal moves help you plan your next move. Captured pieces remain visible beside each side, with brief electronic shutdown effects.
MAKE THE ARENA YOURS
Unlock Solar Gold, Ice Blue and Neon Purple with gems earned in the game. Preview skins before unlocking, switch between owned skins, and use your chosen colors on the 2D board. In Nearby VS, each player sees the other player's equipped pieces when both use a compatible version.
PLAN YOUR NEXT MOVE
In AI stages, Hint suggests a move for one gem. Showing the same recommendation again is free. Undo costs one gem per use, with up to two uses per game. Hint and Undo count toward your stage's star rating. Resign lets you end a game and try again.
EARN AND SPEND GEMS
The first clear of each tenth stage awards two gems. Ordinary and repeat stage clears award none. Optional short neon races offer two gems for success and an optional rewarded ad for three more. Read the guide, race or skip straight to chess. Recharge on the stage screen or during a match offers two gems after a completed rewarded ad, when available. Gems cannot be bought, transferred or exchanged for money.
FEEL EVERY CAPTURE
Neon pieces, light bursts, electronic effects and English announcements bring each game to life. Play to three original electronic tracks, adjust audio in Settings and toggle vibration on supported devices.
PLAY SOMEONE NEARBY
Use NEARBY VS to host or join a game with another nearby iPhone or iPad through Google Nearby Connections. Both players need version 2.0.5 or later, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on, and Bluetooth and Local Network access. Select the host room and confirm the matching code on both devices. Nearby play does not use online matchmaking or shared-device controls, and does not offer Hint, Undo or Recharge.
CLASSIC CHESS RULES
Castling, en passant and promotion are supported, with automatic draws for stalemate, insufficient material, threefold repetition and the fifty-move rule.
The game interface and announcements are in English. AI play works offline and does not require an account. Optional Apple Game Center sign-in provides access to your Game Center profile.
The app contains banner ads, occasional interstitial ads at game transitions and optional rewarded ads. Ads require an internet connection and may be unavailable. Ad privacy settings and ad reporting are available in the app. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Stages 51–100 are marked Coming Soon and are not yet playable.
