Your old Apple Watch can look after your dog.
Strap a spare Apple Watch to your dog's collar and Luca Paws learns what normal looks like for them: walks, rest, sleep, scratching, licking and head shakes. When something changes, you see it on the Today screen, with a nudge to talk to your vet if it keeps up.
TRACK HEALTH
- Daily summary compared with your dog's own usual range
- Itch trend, with left ear, right ear and body scratching split out
- Night restlessness from a simple Bedtime and Good morning toggle
- Steps counted from collar motion, calibrated to your dog's gait
- A diary of baths, food changes, flea and tick doses and vet visits, drawn right on the charts
- Say it instead of typing: "gave him his flea meds and a bath this morning" becomes diary entries you check before saving (on-device, with Apple Intelligence)
STAY ON TOP OF CARE
- Care schedule for monthly and yearly routines and vaccines
- Reminders before vaccines run out, with one tap to book or scan the new record
- Vet appointments on a calendar, and add them to your own calendar
- Documents shelf: scan paper records, add PDFs and photos, find them later
PLAN A TRIP ABROAD
- A timeline built backward from your travel dates, flying or driving
- Researched entry rules for Mexico, Canada, the UK, the EU, Costa Rica and Guatemala, each step linked to its official source

LOST-DOG ID ON THE WATCH

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your iPhone and your dog's watch. You don't need an account or a subscription, and nothing goes to the cloud.
Luca Paws shows changes from your dog's normal. It doesn't diagnose anything. Talk to your vet about health concerns.
Requires an iPhone. Motion tracking and the ID tag need a second Apple Watch (Series 4 or later on watchOS 10) worn by your dog. Records, trip planning, care reminders and the calendar work without one.
