What's new in 6.6 • Trip costs. The Trip Planner now shows what each way costs: the ferry fare for everyone riding, gas or electricity, and tolls. Add your car in Settings, Trip Costs. • Route maps. Every trip option has a map of its route. Tap it to see the full drive and crossing. • Choose your priority. When two options are close, tell the planner what matters most: fastest, cheapest, ferry, or driving. • Motorcycle trips. Set your vehicle to a motorcycle and plans skip the car line. • Reorder saved places in the Trip Planner. - New: the Trip Planner. Tell it where you're going and it picks the boat for you. It compares nearby routes using live delays, drive-up space, how busy each sailing is likely to be, and posted terminal waits, then tells you when to leave. Find it on the Home screen. Available to supporters. On routes that take reservations, the Trip Planner tells you when to book and how early to check in. If your boat isn't bookable yet, tap Notify Me for a reminder when reservations open. Save places like Home and Work for one-tap trips, and pick recent searches back up. The planner also remembers your last trip for a few hours. - The vehicle settings screen has a cleaner look, and it's the same everywhere you edit your vehicle. - Demand predictions refresh more often, so they stay current through the day. - Bug fixes and improvements.

Fixes a minor map bug and language around load predictions

A big update to the vessel map. NEW • Boat trips as a track: the Events tab on the vessel map now shows where each boat has been, where it is now, and where it's headed next. • Smooth motion: boats glide from one position to the next and turn as they change course, instead of jumping every few seconds. • Follow a boat: tap a boat that's underway and the map follows it, keeping the boat and its whole track in view. Pan or zoom to take over, or tap the boat again to pick it back up. • Live badge: see at a glance whether boat positions are up to date. • Map button on sailings: expand a sailing and tap Map to see where that boat is. • Backup positions: if FerryFriend's live vessel feed has a problem, the map shows positions straight from WSF so you can still see where the boats are. • Swipe down on a boat's details card to close it.

• Your route alerts now carry over when you reinstall FerryFriend or move to a new iPhone. If notifications are off, we'll remind you to turn them back on. • Sailings that have already left now show whether they departed on time, early, or late, not just the most recent one. • Fixed the vessel map saying you're offline when you have service, including on phones whose clock is set a few minutes off. • Schedules and alerts refresh more reliably when you come back to the app, and FerryFriend uses less data while it's in the background. • Send Diagnostic Data now includes more detail to help us track down loading problems.

New in 6.4: • Save your WSF reservation lookup code. Scan the barcode on any reservation confirmation from the My WSF Tickets screen and it's there whenever you need it. One code covers every reservation made with the same account. • Schedules load faster, especially on a weak connection. • The most recent sailing now always shows when it departed. • Tapping anywhere on a saved ticket, including its remaining uses, now opens the ticket. • Fixed tickets not being savable on smaller iPhones with larger text sizes. • Fixed the wrong-direction warning showing up on routes that were already headed the right way.
