Inventions is an entertainment and learning app, dedicated to those who are curious about great inventions and their inventors. The app has two environments: Inventions and Inventors. And, in each of them, there are two options: Learn and Play. Both options are complementary because, the more you “learn” about great inventions and their inventors, the higher the score and the more challenges you will achieve “playing". The app includes a Scoreboard that shows your "Record Points per Game" and also your "Challenges Completed", or the times you have achieved 25 correct answers in a row, in the same game. And it shows it for both environments: Play Inventions and Play Inventors. INVENTIONS — Learn about Inventions: Touch the Learn button to go to a gallery with 200 great inventions. Selecting any one of them you will see a description of that invention, as well as the name of its inventor or inventors, the country or countries involved, and the year in which the invention appeared. — Play Inventions: Touch the Play button and an invention will appear on the screen. You have to guess who invented it, among four possible options. If you get it right, your score will increase and the app will challenge you with a new invention. If you fail, you can choose between starting a new game or ending the game. At the top of the game screen you will see your score in that game. And also your record score or maximum number of points that you have achieved in a Play Inventions game. INVENTORS — Learn about Inventors: Touch the Learn button to go to the gallery of great inventors. And, when you select the name of any inventor, you will see the description of his or her invention, as well as the inventor's nationality, and the year in which the invention appeared. — Play Inventors: When you touch the Play button, the name of an inventor will appear on the screen. And you have to guess what he or she invented, choosing one of the four possible options. If you get it right, your score will increase and the app will challenge you by showing the name of another inventor. If you fail, you can choose between starting a new game or ending the game. At the top of the game screen you will see your score in that game. And also your record score or maximum number of points that you have achieved in a Play Inventors game. SCOREBOARD From the home screen you can go to the Scoreboard, with two areas: Inventions and Inventors. In each case, you will see your “Record Points per Game”, or the maximum score you have achieved so far in a game. And also the “Challenges Completed”, or number of times you have managed to answer 25 consecutive questions correctly in the same game, of Inventions or Inventors.
