Turn PHP study into a regular practice habit. Read a lesson, try its code in the workspace, complete a short challenge, and return to the topics that need more attention. php Code Play is designed for learners who want a guided path alongside a working PHP editor.
The lesson library contains 200 PHP topics. Begin with output and variables, then move through arrays, conditions, functions, strings, type conversion, object-oriented programming, and later language features. The catalogue lets you search, browse chapters, and continue from your last lesson. Each lesson presents an explanation and code so the idea can be studied before you edit it. Lessons are labeled according to whether their sample runs inside the app or needs a separate PHP server.
In the workspace, write PHP and inspect its output in a dedicated tab. Supported code runs through the app's PHP runtime. The editor has undo, redo, find and replace, and go-to-line controls. You can begin a fresh file, open a file, and save your work. A row of quick keys helps enter common coding characters when you are using the on-screen keyboard. For examples that depend on a web server or other unavailable services, the app shows their requirement instead of implying that local execution can handle them.
There is also a path focused on combining HTML and PHP. Its tutorials show how PHP can insert values into a page, generate markup, use conditions and loops in templates, and handle text safely. Search for a specific example or browse its sections when you want to understand how a snippet fits into a complete page.
When you are ready to apply a concept, open the daily challenge. Read a focused prompt and expected output, check the hints if you need direction, and use the editor to test a solution. Guided PHP projects offer a longer sequence of steps. Choose from beginner and intermediate work, open each step in the workspace, and see your completion status as you progress. Supported exercises compare the output of your code with the expected result.
Knowledge checks provide another way to practice. Take a PHP quiz, then use Smart Review to revisit questions you missed. For interview preparation, search the question bank, open an explanation, save a bookmark, or mark a question for later review. The 10-question mock interview presents questions one at a time, reveals field notes on request, and records how confidently you answered.
Your progress screen summarizes lesson activity, completed challenges and projects, quiz attempts, reviews, and interview preparation. It also shows a 30-day activity calendar and learning streak. Set a daily goal of 5, 10, or 15 minutes. If you want a prompt to return, choose a time for an optional learning reminder. The Today view points toward a useful next activity, whether that is a lesson, a challenge, or a review.
Use php Code Play for short practice sessions or a more structured PHP learning plan. It keeps reading, editing, testing, and recall exercises connected while clearly separating the examples that run in the app from those that require a PHP server.
