Stellar XLM has one of the cheapest and fastest cryptocurrency transactions.
This app helps people who use Stellar for the purpose of inter-exchange money transfer decide, if a transaction via Stellar is better value compared to buying via fiat directly on a major exchange.
Example case : You want to buy USDT on Binance, but your native currency isn't one of the first-class supported citizens.
In this case, the exchange rates when buying using our native currencies directly to USDT tends to cost extra. (In my case of buying USDT directly from THB, I found my exchange rate tends to be 2.5% higher than the actual price!)
However, if your country does have its own coin exchange. You could purchase XLM from your exchange at your native rate, then transfer XLM over to Binance, which tends to be cheaper during periods when the price doesn't swing and the price difference isn't that much.
This app helps you monitor the prices of XLM, accounts for the brokerage fees when purchasing XLM, and calculates the estimated transfer loss, which you could use to aid in deciding whether to purchase via this "Stellar workaround" route, or via the major exchange directly.
