Enjoy your rowing machine workout more using this VR app for your iPhone and iPhone compatible VR headset.
The VR rowing app responds to the motion of rowing by moving you around a sea in a virtual world. There are various landmarks to visit including floating cubes, fire fountains, a grey monument, and more.
In order to use this app:
- As with any VR app, turn off power save mode and auto-lock so the phone won't go to sleep in your headset
- Adjust the VR Rowing app settings for sensitivity and stroke power depending on whether you workout hard or easy
- Align phone with rowing machine. If you forget this step, you can align the VR scene with your rowing machine by tapping the gear icon
- Start rowing
- You can steer right or left by tilting your head

VR Rowing v1.1 adds the ability to control the time of day in the VR world through which you row. If you have been using VR Rowing for a while, please be sure to move the new time of day slider to the night setting to have the experience of rowing under a starry sky.
