Kitesurfing, windsurfing or winging, and wondering whether your spot will have wind on the dates you have in mind?
Windcast looks at up to 20 years of wind history for any spot in the world and tells you how likely you are to ride on your dates and during your session hours.
HOW IT WORKS
Pick a spot, a date, a window of days (± 3 or ± 7) and your session hours. In seconds you'll see the share of days that had rideable wind for you, when it blows hardest and where it comes from.
What it shows you:
+ % of days with rideable wind in your session hours, using your own wind range
+ Average wind and gusts in your session, and whether it's steady or gusty
+ Wind rose and the most frequent direction hour by hour
+ Best time of year: % of rideable days month by month
+ Home Screen widget and wind alerts
+ Hour-by-hour wind with your session highlighted
+ Rideable days per year, so you can see how much it varies
+ Wind, gust and direction forecast when your date is less than 16 days away
+ Historical temperature, rain and humidity

Compare spots before you decide
Compare up to four spots on the same dates and Windcast tells you which one has the best wind odds. Save your searches and get a heads-up when the real forecast becomes available.
Worldwide coverage
Historical weather model data (Open-Meteo / ERA5 reanalysis) for anywhere on the planet. For the best accuracy, drop the pin on the water where you ride.
No account and no ads. Your saved searches stay on your iPhone.
