Afeda, is an Arabic word that was mentioned in many verses including this: He is the One Who created for you hearing, sight, and intellect. Yet you hardly give any thanks (Chapter 28, verse 78).
The most common interpretation for Afeda is hearts and minds. However, it could be a comprehensive word referring to the inner world, the relationship between the organs and the heart, between the subconscious mind and the conscious mind, between two hearts, between yourself and your inner world. We are excited to take you this learning journey to understand the self with compassion and gratitude.
The App is inspired by this verse in Quran for people to feel peace in their inner talk and expand light in their interaction with others.
God guides those who seek His pleasure to the ways of peace, brings them out of darkness and into light (Chapter 2 “Al Maidah”, verse 16)
