Description
Your ride is just a few taps away in Egypt, Australia, Japan and selected countries of Latin America through our DiDi Rider app, offered by the world’s leading on-demand transportation network.
To use our service in Brazil, please download the ‘99’ app in the App Store.
To use DiDi in China, please download the ‘DiDi-Greater China’ app in the App Store (the Chinese mainland / Hong Kong SAR).
Requesting a trip is simple:
1. Download the app and follow the instructions to create an account.
2. To request a trip, select your pickup and dropoff locations.
3. Once we’ve found a driver, you’ll be shown the driver and vehicle information. Please note: all our driver-partners are vetted before joining our platform. You can also check the driver’s pickup route and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
4. At the end of your trip, pay hassle-free using your preferred payment method directly in the app.
5. Safety first! Take a minute to learn how to set Trusted Contacts, use the Emergency Button or share your ride status using our in-app Safety Toolkit.

the maps aren't detailed enough so the drivers often arrive and wait a that wrong place or on the wrong side of the road. a lot of smaller roads are completely not marked so sometimes they don't even know how to get to the destination unless they use another map app. and most drivers i've seen end up using secondary navigation and map apps because of that.
on average a car takes 15-30 mins to arrive. it takes a very long time to find a driver. and the radius is too large so they're often very far away.
drivers also regularly cancel your order too.
this apps only saving grace is that it's cheaper than other ones, but it is simply too difficult and onerous in every other aspect
Terrible driver, underdeveloped app
I strongly do not recommend this service. The driver brought me to the wrong address, even though i specified it on the map with the building’s number. Then he decided to show me his attitude.
The app doesn’t show you correctly where the driver is so you can’t even know how long you have to wait.
Customer care is 5ish at best.
Driver come to pick up point, drives off and demands to cancel the trip. In that case I have to pay for the trip, although I was at a pick up point.
There is absolutely no one in customer care, fake phone number within the app.
Either fix it or hire competent drivers.
