Our reservation was cancelled just before check-in, which forced us to spend several unforgettable hours looking for a new apartment with a small child in our arms. We overpaid a lot and had to take an apartment further from the center than the previous one. The refund took some time, and we didn't spend the rest of the vacation the way we would have liked, because we were financially strapped. In addition, when trying to book from my sister's account, we encountered the error "the service is not available to users from Russia and Belarus", although in fact we were in the European Union - in Paris. This error forced us to make a reservation from my account. One of the support agents promised to charge compensation when providing a receipt for the payment of a second home, and from that time the conversation reached an impasse. Since July (it is SEPTEMBER now) we can't get a measly $72 back (although they promised 300$). The last of the prepositions is "we sent you the money, but we don't know when it will arrive, wait." The operators name different amounts, contradict each other, shift responsibility and behave just ugly. Not only does the site discriminate against people based on nationality, contrary to its own policy, which states that the restriction of the service applies only to certain territories, it also exhausts, evades and evades the answer. We have always been very loyal and preferred this service. Our last impression is total disappointment and frustration. The price of Airbnb's reputation is $72.

I have been using the app for 8 years. At the very beginning there was adequate service. Now it has turned into a cheap platform with low quality accommodation, where they do not control the quality of rented housing at all, and AIR BNB is only interested in making money. For example, there was a problem with rented housing at AIR BNB in the summer of 2023 in South Korea - the apartment had a dirty bed, an electrical outlet without a cover in the bathroom (which was very unsafe for life, since according to international rules, wet areas must be equipped with sockets and switches with covers), and in general the level of cleaning was so bad that I had to clean the apartment myself, and not rest. The support service did not react in any way to the claim, but only defended the owner of the apartment. After I left a review for the owner, he did not write a response, so my comments were not published, it turns out that other people who will rent this apartment will not even understand what they are renting! Why do AIR BNB need a rating system and posting reviews? I am very disappointed with the service, there is no desire to use it further and spend money for nothing.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING

My experience with this app was terrible. We booked place in advance for a month based on nice photos, good reviews and great location (as advertised), but the reality turned out to be harsh, as this apartment has nothing in common with advertised one. We had to cancel our booking after entering the apartment and had to spend 3hrs settling this case with Airbnb and the host. It was the terrible and stressful way to end the day after travelling for 8hrs.Airbnb support told us that they won’t do the refund, because “it is still lovable” as they said!Luckily host agreed to give full refund and I appreciate it, but much better experience would be to present tourists with correct photos (including photos of the building and surrounding area) and wholistic description of the property. Unfortunately, due to the nightmare with this apartment we had to book expensive hotel and significantly reduce our time in the city, which sadly resulted in the failed vacation and a lot of unnecessary spending. My last time using this app.
