The June 2023 Update delivers enhancements, and performance and stability improvements. • NEW! Onyx Graphics color palettes With the latest update, the Onyx Graphics color palettes are now integrated into CorelDRAW, allowing you to incorporate these color palettes into your production workflows with ease. • ENHANCED! Import files with object styles  In CorelDRAW, when you import files that have object styles with identical names to those in your drawing, you can now choose from multiple options. Performance and Stability • When importing or opening a PDF file, fountain fills display with the expected gradient settings. • Drop shadows, block shadows, or contours applied to print merge fields function as expected when previewing and printing a merge document in CorelDRAW or saving it to a new document. • Continuous curves in shapes are smooth and retain the correct number of nodes when a CorelDRAW document is exported to the DWG or DXF format by using the Export curves as splines option. • Stability issues related to closing, saving, or exporting CDR files containing bulleted text have been resolved. • Several issues that caused applications to stop responding have been addressed.

The new Variable Outline tool lets you create object outlines of varying widths. You can specify where the width variance starts and ends to create dynamic, organic-looking lines and shapes. In addition, you can modify an outline without affecting its variable-outline properties.  CorelDRAW’s Pantone color palettes have been updated with all the latest colors from the Pantone libraries. CorelDRAW now remembers the Crop to page on export setting and Transformation values in Export dialog boxes.  When the Artistic Media tool is active and either the Brush or Sprayer buttons on the property bar are clicked, the Category list box now displays the correct categories.  Colors now export correctly when publishing to PDF using the Archiving (RGB) preset (File > Publish To PDF > PDF preset).  Performance issues with editing paragraph text with bullets have been addressed.  Performance and stability issues when opening and importing files containing symbols have been addressed.  Several issues that caused applications to stop responding have been addressed.  Various enhancements, performance, and stability improvements.

We are constantly working on improving your CorelDRAW experience. Here is an update that will improve your design experience with CorelDRAW. CorelDRAW now fully supports macOS Catalina (10.15) and Sidecar. The list of performance and other improvements includes: COLOR AND EFFECTS • You can find and replace fills and colors in objects and monochrome bitmaps. • Drop shadows in CorelDRAW documents no longer disappear when they are broken apart and converted to curves. TEXT • Copying and pasting or stretching artistic text no longer scrambles the characters. OBJECT SNAPPING • When you snap groups or multiple selected objects to guidelines, their bounding box is now used, not the bounding box of only one object. OTHER • The default ruler origin remains 0,0 in custom page sizes. • Working with bitmaps in Wireframe view no longer causes refresh issues.

Color and Fills • Various improvements in color pickers, color palettes, and color styles will help you apply and edit colors with confidence. • Pantone spot colors (inks) applied to text objects with outlines now show correctly on the Separations page of the Print dialog box. Objects • The Objects inspector offers improved previews, easier object selection, as well as fully functional Select Object to Activate Layer and Show Master Layer Per Page options. • It's now faster to work with large selections in CorelDRAW. Stability CorelDRAW no longer stops responding when you • drag a spot color to a color harmony. • open certain CDR files that contain missing fonts. • press Return to open a template file. • use the Alien Skin Eye Candy Plugin with CorelDRAW. • drag linked groups such as blends and contours out of a group and manipulate them. • use the Segment Dimension tool on locked objects. • apply a block shadow and switch from the Default to any other workspace. Text • Improvements include better scrolling in the Font list box, predictable deselecting of paragraph text, easier text editing, and retaining the Default Font when cancelling the Change Default Settings dialog box. • You can now type special characters when holding down Option. • You can access outline settings from the Properties inspector when editing text. User Interface • UI fixes make it easier to zoom and pan in the Adjust dialog boxes, detect the object origin, work with mesh fills, apply Pointillizer effects, use the rulers, and more. Performance improvements • The list of most recently used fonts is now retained from one session to the next. • The list of most recently used files is now properly retained between sessions. • When you press Command + P and then you press Return, your document is printed as expected. • The mini preview in the Print dialog box displays correctly the document orientation that you choose. • New presets you save from the Create a New Document dialog box retain their settings. • It is now easy to select the color palette you want from the list of palettes in the fill color pickers. • The start and end nodes of fountain fills are displayed as expected. • In CorelDRAW, the tint of spot colors used in uniform fills can be specified by entering a percentage. • Lens effects render the expected color. • It is now faster to work with bitmaps or object groups that include bitmaps. Other • DXF/DWG files that contain extended characters in the path or file name can be opened and imported in CorelDRAW. • In CorelDRAW, you can now use the Transparency tool from the toolbox to add transparencies to objects that have non-destructive effects applied.
