Version 2 is a major update. We reworked the user interface, added new features, optimized many things under the hood, and tried to make the app as smooth, easy and pleasant to use as possible. Give it a try - we think you will love it! New: Locator. A simple, compass-style navigation aid to guide to places where regular navigation apps can’t - like the exact entrance of a large building, a ship in the marina, a fishing spot in the middle of the lake… New: Automatically open and save Directions links or QR codes right in the app. You will find them in the new “Received” list. New: Receive and save entire collections of places from websites, links, or QR codes. New: Directions you receive can now have an Info Panel that provides extra information about the destination. New: Directions App uses square images, so there is no need to turn your phone to landscape mode when taking a picture. So now the app warns you and prevents you from taking a picture if you hold your phone in the wrong orientation. New: Showing GPS accuracy on the Camera screen so you know how precise the saved location will be. New: We added a brand new on-boarding tutorial to show you how to use the app. We found and fixed a few bugs, and optimized the app for speed and convenience. Let us know what you think!

- Collections: now you can create Collections to keep your places sorted into different lists of categories, like “Paris trip”, “Shopping”, “Places I want to see”, etc.. - Share: You can also share an entire Collection with others, or import a Collection created by others using our new .directions file format. - Auto save: Directions you create are now auto-saved in My Places - Backup: Back up and restore the entire contents of the app - Export/Import: Export all of your directions into an HTML file that can be opened as a list in any browser, printed, or shared with others. - New sharing options: We added options to the Share button. Tap and hold Share to copy the link, copy the address, copy the coordinates, or add the place to a Collection. - We streamlined the user interface to make the app more intuitive to use. - We found and fixed some bugs. - We temporarily updated our app icon to show that we stand with Ukraine against foreign aggression. We hope that Directions App can help displaced people meet up with with loved ones or find supplies, etc. even in odd or unfamiliar places.
