Small fixes and improvements to keep your practice running smoothly.

• Reminders now name your next step, like lessons due for review or the next stop on your Journey. Tap one and it opens right there. • Reminder messages now appear in your language. • After setup, the Journey takes you straight into your first step, starting with one you already know.

• A clearer start: a short preview shows how the starting-point check finds your place on the path, and it asks whether you know note names before using them. • The purchase screen is now translated into all of the app's languages. • Choices during setup clearly show which one you picked. • A sharper welcome icon and small fixes.

• Find your starting point: an optional check during setup shows which steps you already know, and your path starts right after them. Skip it anytime. • New choice during setup: "Understand music theory". Pick it and you start in the theory course, with a short welcome and then your first lesson. • Setup now waits for your answer to "What brings you to NoteHunter?", so the right path and lessons come first. "Just exploring" is always there.

• Tell us what you came for: a new question during setup puts the right path first, whether you are starting from zero, training your ear for an instrument, studying for an exam, or helping your child. • The theory course now introduces itself, opens each unit by naming what you will be able to do by the end, and closes it by paying that promise back. • Every Journey session says what it teaches before it starts, and the bear now speaks: a nudge on your first map, and your result in a speech bubble at the end. • Ear lessons answer in solfège — Sol, Mi, La — and staff lessons answer in letters. The Sol-Mi staff lesson explains how the two meet: when C is Do, Sol is G and Mi is E. • Rhythm explains itself: what ta, ti and a beat mean, and how to place and remove notes on the staff. • Fixed: rhythm playing through the phone while your headphones were connected, mismatched buttons, a double circle around the close button, and two game modes missing from this week's usage.

• Name the Key: a chord progression plays in a random key and you name it. On iOS 27, on-device music analysis listens to the same clip and backs you up. Unit 6 of the theory course. • Finish a Journey lesson and Next takes you straight to the following one. • Rhythm lessons now start with two guided rounds: copy the rhythm you can see, then rebuild it from memory. • Interval lessons play the target interval first, and add harder choices as you get them right. • Statistics shows what is actually working: this week's accuracy, and every interval, note, staff position and beat you have met, coloured by how solid it is. Tap one to practice it. • Fixed rhythm tiles that were hard to read in dark mode, interval names that were cut short, and a Journey screen that ran past the edges.

• Passed lessons now come back on a spaced schedule. A card on Home shows what is due, and a five-drill Daily Review keeps your streak alive. • Finish every lesson in a unit and a ten-drill unit test unlocks. Pass it and the unit gets a green seal. • Every theory lesson has an Ask button. The tutor answers questions about that lesson, on device. • Miss a question in Note, Interval, Rhythm or Sheet Reading and you can jump straight to the theory behind it. • Start practice, check your streak or open a lesson from Siri and Shortcuts, without opening the app. Lessons show up in Spotlight too. • Liquid Glass on iOS 26, across the games and the Journey map. • Fixed a rare audio glitch that could cut playback short.

Small improvements and bug fixes.

We listened to your feedback! • New for beginners: every game now explains what you're learning, and Rhythm includes a tap-to-hear guide to note values. • Rhythm fixes: the whole note now shows the right symbol, and answers are graded by how the rhythm sounds — two separate eighth notes count the same as a connected pair. Thanks for helping make NoteHunter better!
