Gremlins were caught chewing on the Word code styling and Powerpoint list item exporters and have been vanquished. The Powerpoint exporter now lets you choose from a few universal font options for your themed presentations, so that you won't end up boring your boardroom to death.

BRF export is now more reliable when using Grade 2 braille with custom cells and lines per page. Pagination has also been improved for headings and emphasized text, along with general export and stability refinements. You can now choose between Braille Display and Embosser Output in the BRF exporter.

A spooky bug in the BRF exporter was causing crashes in the night, and now the bug itself has been scared away! The app will no longer crash out to the Home Screen after exporting a custom-sized BRF document. Custom BRF exports now no longer contain markdown punctuation when emphasis splits across multiple lines, and an issue with longer headings breaking pagination has also been fixed.

Hot off the presses of haunting your boardrooms with Powerpoint presentation exports, the boardroom can now haunt you right back with new Powerpoint deck imports! Import a Powerpoint file and choose the specific elements you'd like to include or exclude, and the whole slide deck will get turned into navigable and editable markdown. Lists, paragraphs, links, tables, code, quotes, local and external images will all mysteriously materialize right into a new file.

Your Markdown can haunt the boardroom now! You can now turn your markdown into a Powerpoint presentation. This export brings along your lists, editable tables, images, and speaker notes, dressed in four accessible and spooktacular color themes. We also exorcised duplicate headings in the HTML render view and unnecessary export busywork. No séance required.

A plethora of ghastly gremlins have been ousted out of all of the Export formats! Tagged PDFs, HTML, eBraille, ePub, and BRF output is now structurally much cleaner and much more widely supported and up to spook, er, spec. You can now provide tactile graphics notation in your markdown so eBraille files can correctly mark them up for multi-line braille displays. These images will also appear properly in the Render view and all export types. All eBraille metadata can now be added in Settings so you don't have to keep typing it with each export.

New export options that will make you jump out of your socks! On top of being able to export your markdown files as Word documents, you can now export out in tagged PDF and ePub formats! The output PDFs will be instantly navigable by screen readers and other assistive technologies, and the ePub will come across with a Table of Contents built out of your heading structure, plus will embed any contained images along with their alt text.

You can now import and export Microsoft Word documents in ghostWriter! All supported file elements will get converted into Markdown on import, and you can now Share out any of your Markdown files as a Word document. More details about what Word elements can and cannot be converted can be found in the Settings > Help page. Silly spooks were messing with the Delete screen, and they've been scared off, making it run faster when clearing out files. Thanks again for all the user feedback!

VoiceOver users can now move between headings with scrub gestures right in the editor, choose how chatty ghostWriter should be, and hear clearer Markdown confirmations while writing. We also exorcised a few mischievous bugs that were rattling around behind the keyboard.

This update streamlines the Library view for both VOiceOver and non-VoiceOver users alike. The scary Actions Menus have vanished and more modern swipe gestures have been applied to your files and folders. A new VoiceOver Verbosity setting has been created, where Full mode can be turned on so VoiceOver speaks and confirms the elements you are creating in the editor on the fly, be left as is in Light mode, or be fully turned off if typing in tomb-like silence is more your thing.

Fixed more spooky issues surrounding Dark Mode. All text contrast will now behave properly based on your Appearance settings and will stop blending into the interface ectoplasm.

Cleaned up a lot of spooky happenings in and around the app. The Markdown Editor is now much much faster with all input types, including braille screen input. Navigating VoiceOver through the Library list and opening documents is no longer getting held up by a peevish poltergeist.
