A small housekeeping release. The privacy policy and terms are now one tap away, on the pairing screen and at the bottom of Settings. The app also carries Apple's privacy manifest, which spells out what the label already said: Ground Control tracks nothing and collects nothing.

Fixes for things that went quiet when they should not have. An Allow or Deny tap that never reached your Mac used to lock the card for good. The card now comes back so you can answer again. An open chat went silent after your Mac restarted or updated Ground Control. It now picks the conversation back up on its own. Codex and Kimi replies that took longer than half a minute showed "no reply from mac yet" even when they worked. That only shows up now when something actually went wrong. Pairing opened two connections instead of one. It opens one. Please update Ground Control on your Mac too. Run npx @clastres/groundcontrol there once. Since 0.1.7 it could not update itself, which was our bug, and the new version fixes that along with a few safety issues. Settings tells you if your Mac still needs it.

Opening a chat that had nothing in it yet gave you a black screen. It now tells you whether the log is still on its way, whether your Mac never answered, or whether the pilot has genuinely said nothing, and you can pull down to refresh either way.

The app got a new look. The pilots are the same idea, drawn properly. Every creature is now built from the same set of parts, so a screen full of them reads as one species instead of a random zoo, and each one has two lit eyes and a bit of a glow. Your existing pilots get new faces with this, which is the one thing that is not backwards compatible. Everything around them got quieter. Near black instead of violet, one accent color instead of four, rounded cards instead of boxes, and the arcade type kept only for the small labels where it actually reads. The crew list gives the pilot that is stopped waiting for you a card of its own, so you can answer it without hunting.

Fixing visual bugs for the pilots

CREW, a list next to the island. The same pilots as rows, grouped by who needs you, who is working and who is resting, each showing the last thing it said. There is a search field for when the street gets crowded. The island is still home. It is just a poor list past about six sessions. Pilots are yours now. Give one a callsign, a color and a body, and it keeps them. They are remembered by folder and tool rather than by session, so an agent you restart comes back as the same pilot instead of a stranger. A plus button that starts a session on your Mac from your phone. You pick from the folders you have actually worked in, so you never type a path. Resting pilots blink and walk slowly. Working pilots never blink. That is the whole trick to making them look alive. Fixed a crash coming back from the crew list to the island, and gave the top row of pilots room to breathe under the mode bar.

Your pilots scroll now. Added support for Kimi & Grok Bot pilots. Grok Bot pilots are watch-only. Their agents run in xAI's cloud, so you can read them here, but you reply in the Grok Bot app. The message box tells you instead of letting you type into nothing.

Ground Control now speaks Japanese and Spanish. The app follows your phone's language. To use a different one, open Settings, find Ground Control, and pick a Preferred Language. Promotional Text is the one field you can change any time without submitting a new version, so when the language news goes stale just drop the first sentence and you're back to the evergreen line: Your coding agents keep working when you walk away. Ground Control puts them in your pocket as pixel pilots you can watch and command.

Answer permission prompts from your phone. Claude Code stops and asks before it does anything risky. Until now that meant a session just sat there until you got back to your Mac. You would open the app, see a pilot happily working away, and have no idea it had been stuck for an hour waiting on a yes. Now the question comes to you. Tap the pilot, see exactly what it wants to run, and pick Allow, Always, or Deny with a reason. Your Mac still prompts like it always did. Whichever you answer first wins, so nothing changes when you are sitting at your desk. One tap in Settings turns it on. If your Mac needs updating first, the app will tell you.

Your pilots now show what they are doing. While a session works, Ground Control cycles fun status words like POLLINATING and ORBITING in the chat and on the island, so you always know it is alive and connected.
