HomeMapper

Smart Home Network Inventory

Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad

LAUNCH PRICING: Pro is $9.99/year (reg. $19.99), 7-day free trial. Unify HomeKit, Home Assistant, Thread, Matter, and IP in one view. Free tier, no time limits. Your entire smart home network. One view. HomeMapper builds a unified inventory of every device on your network. It scans HomeKit, Home Assistant, Thread, Matter, and IP simultaneously, correlates the results by hardware identifiers, and shows you every device, every detail, in one view. DISCOVER HomeMapper runs every discovery method at once: • Apple's ecosystem. HomeKit via Apple's framework. Thread accessories through HomeKit, plus Border Routers that announce themselves on the network. Matter detected during the HomeKit scan. • The network itself. Bonjour service discovery, subnet scans, and protocols like SSDP/UPnP that many routers and smart TVs use. • Home Assistant. Direct read of your Home Assistant device registry, including Matter, Thread, Zigbee, Z-Wave, ESPHome, and MQTT devices. CORRELATE When the same device shows up through multiple methods, HomeMapper merges the records using seven hardware identifiers, not fuzzy name matching. If two records can't be confidently merged, it shows them as duplicates rather than guess. SCAN-ONLY BY DESIGN HomeMapper discovers and inventories. It never controls, modifies, or commissions devices. YOUR DEVICES, EVERY DETAIL See devices Apple's Home app can't (IP, Home Assistant, and most things announcing on your network) and the details it tucks away: manufacturer, model, firmware version, serial number, battery level, Matter and Thread info, IP address, MAC address, ping time, bridge relationships, and more. Sort, search, and customize columns. On iPad and Mac, devices appear as a table; on iPhone, as rich detail cards. A room-based view groups devices by room with reachability and protocol badges. HOME ASSISTANT, FIRST CLASS HomeMapper scans your Home Assistant instance with the same depth it scans HomeKit. Zigbee, Z-Wave, ESPHome, MQTT: devices HomeKit can't see become visible alongside the ones it can. Choose your Primary Platform (HomeKit or Home Assistant) and HomeMapper uses its room names when a device is known to both. THREAD MESH VISIBILITY For HomeKit-paired Thread accessories, HomeMapper reads each device's mesh role: Router, Leader, End Device, or Border Router. It also finds Thread Border Routers on the network and reads their network name, Extended PAN ID, and Thread version. Apple doesn't expose Thread mesh internals through standard APIs, so you won't see this in the Home app. SETUP CODE VAULT Every HomeKit, Matter, and Z-Wave device ships with a setup code on a sticker that fades or gets lost. Save each one while you still have it: scan the QR or the printed code with the camera, pull either from a photo, type it in, or bulk-import a CSV. A Settings page lists the devices still missing a code, room by room. Codes never cross the network, so a scan can't find them. You save them once, and they travel in your backups and exports. SYNC, EXPORT, AND BACK UP Export your entire inventory to CSV, filtered how you want. It opens in Numbers, Excel, or Google Sheets. Back up your inventory, settings, and setup codes to iCloud Drive or a local folder, automatically or on demand, and restore them on another device. Or turn on iCloud sync to keep your setup codes, Home Assistant connections, and settings current across devices, in your own iCloud, not ours. PRIVACY You are not the product. Zero ads, zero tracking. Local database. Nothing leaves your device unless you send it. No account required. The only login is directly to your Home Assistant instance, and only if you choose to connect it. FREE AND PRO HomeKit scanning, the device list with core columns, the room-based view, and switching between Apple Homes are free forever. No scan limits. No time limits. Pro unlocks all 20+ columns, multi-protocol scanning, protocol filtering, the combined "All Homes" view, Home Assistant integration, the setup code vault, backup and restore, and CSV export. 7-day free trial. Runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Terms of Use: https://homemapper.app/terms/

* Save setup codes for your HomeKit, Matter, and Z-Wave devices: scan a QR code, capture a printed code with the camera or a photo, type it in, or bulk-import and export with CSV. A Devices Missing Setup Codes page shows which devices still need one, and a new Setup Codes help page covers it all. * iCloud sync keeps your setup codes, Home Assistant logins and connections, and settings in sync across your devices. A Delete iCloud Data action removes just your cloud copies. * Clearer backup settings: "Automatic backup" and "Manual backup" replaced the previous "Scan backup" label * Home Assistant devices are now correctly placed in their assigned Home Assistant home. * Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements
